They won’t be hurting at all. George Paton is doing a fantastic job. He’s been stacking draft picks. Shit, he got a 2 and three for Von Miller who now wants to come back.
Draft picks in many ways are overrated. But, a top caliber QB is never overrated.

They still have three picks in the top 100 this year.

Copycat league. Give up a ton of draft picks for an established player. See Rams with Stafford.

Donks got fleeced IMO. Russ is a good dude and QB but his better days are behind him.

That 5-pick game the Packers had against him in that 38-10 stomping is the happiest I have ever been as a Packers fan vs the Seahawks during the Russ era.
    Yes, I'm pathetic.

Overall the Packers have owned the Seahawks during the Wilson era. Without the Fail Mary and the miracle NFL Championship game it would be almost all Packers. I think the last time the Hawks won in GB was last century. :(

Russ has a lot of great years ahead of him. He is following in Brady’s footsteps for taking care of is body and mind. Last season was the first time he has missed a game, was a fluke play and he is healed now. Keep in mind the Seahawks were 12-4 in 2020 because of Russell Wilson. He basically lost half of 2021 because of the finger injury and healing from it.

With all due respect, you have no idea what you’re talking about. The amount they gave up is actually funny. Draft picks they got for Von Miller, three players that are easy expendable.
So now you’re down to two number ones.
One of them will be this years number 9. Then next years and that will probably be a late upper 20s pick which is a roll of the dice spot.
So, you basically just got Russ for probably 7 or more years for a number nine and late round first. I’d have to ask, Who in the F… wouldn’t do that? I suppose it’s better to grab a Tua or Sam Darnold or the rest of the huge list of first round QBs that are complete washouts?

    Brilliant move by the Broncos.
I would also argue his best days are ahead of him. He’s 33 years old. Rodgers is 39, still playing at MVP levels. Brady, well enough said. This isn’t the days when the QB lit up a Winston on the bench. These athletes are keeping themselves in prime shape to play easily into their 40s.

With all due respect, I gotta disagree. Wilson's game is largely based on extending plays with his legs and plays outside of the pocket due to his height. As he ages, he more that likely won't be able to outrun defenders with fresh legs from the DRAFT.

2 1st's and 2 2nd's is funny? That's a high price. It might have been mitigated by the pick stockpile from other deals but steep nonetheless. In this day-and-age of Franchise Tags, short careers, and cost prohibitive free agency, the draft is a team's future and foundation...if you can draft the right players. See Tebow (love Tebow as a person though).

It all depends on who’s drafting. A quality scout team will find first and second round talent in later rounds.
Funny thing, they rented Von Miller for 10 games for a second and third. Now he wants to come back to Denver. Turn around and take those picks and turn it into Russell Wilson.:rofl:Absolutely brilliant. They take the 9 this year and grab a Kenny Pickett and hope to god he’s worth a shit in 4 years? Bradley Chubb, the sure fire can’t miss 5th overall has been a bust. Drafts picks are only worth a shit if you hit. It’s like the lottery.
I’ll take the future hall of fame QB over those draft picks all day long and so would every single GM and expert out there.

BTW, 2 of the three going to Seattle were high round picks. Fant, a number 1 and largely seen as the best TE in the class. Lock, a potential first round pick taken in the second.

They had 11 this year, next year will suck, but Denver had to do it to get a QB.

I’m not convinced they won’t make moves to stock pile a few more picks for next year. Either way, I absolutely love the move.

Right, but that game was the first one that started making me feel better following that NFCCG Packers meltdown and the Fail Mary.

The Bolts just made a helluva trade for 1 of the best defenders in the league.

I feel like Mack hasn't lived up to this end of the deal in Chicago (and from what I read, the Bears are picking up the tab on the trade), but man I wouldn't want to be the one holding the ball on the other side of Bosa and Mack.

So it took Tom Brady two months to be like "Yeah I don't like this whole spending time with my family thing, football is so much cooler"

Yep, like most pro players, truckers, North Slope workers, Navy submariners, all military folks....I could go on. Not sure what the point is. Steve Young quote this morning..." after that last game the last few years of my career....I'm done. April...I'm good. "

Forgot...Rolling Stones, Ozzy. Ozzy has had 100 last ever for sure tours. Once again....what's the freakin negative point that Brady still wants to play and decided he's not done with football and wifey and kids ok with it? Hello?
