Hey I got a 2015 sr5 and was looking to upgrade to the 2019+ trd pro grille. I like the look of the new trd pro grille and was wondering if that would fit in my 2015 tundra. I know I don't have the tss sensor and don't have a need for it. The dealer & sparksparts told me that the new grille wont even fit on my 2015 and was just wondering if thats true.

Yes it fits. You will also need the TSS cover and they get expensive. You can also do the earlier model Pro Grille, no other parts needed for that.

    find it all here https://www.sparksparts.com/tundra-parts

Is there a cover I can buy that doesn't have any sensor on it? I really don't care for the sensor I just really like the new trd grille

You dont need the sensor, just the cover, to cover the hole in the 2018+ grill.

Thanks for the quick help guys, I just wasn't sure if the grille would even fit on my truck, sparks parts and my dealer both told me that it wouldn't.

Does anyone out there have this honeycomb trd grille on there sr5? I would like to see how it looks with chrome bumpers. I'm planning on color matching the bumpers eventually but would be cool to see how it looks like with the chrome

This is the info I’ve been looking for! So just to clarify, any year 2018+ and grille style should fit right? The grille surround and connection points are the same? And the only potential issue is the lack of sensor and the need to cover (if applicable)? I have a 2015 also and am looking at 2018, 2019 and 2020 grilles.

You can do any grille from 2015-2021. I have the same year as you and went with the sport color matched version (off a 2018 I just ordered the emblem off eBay because I didn’t need the TSS version) from Treasure Coast Toyota. They had it in stock and shipped in 2 days. IMG_4269.jpg

Excellent news! Thank you for the input! Many options out there but as I’m sure you all know the retailers all say they’re not compatible due to year. Figured they were the same specs for mounting. Appreciate the help!
