I tend to agree with this point. You've got at least $3k-4k in the chassis/suspension/front end parts alone, and that's excluding shoes and soles, I think. I'd actually go $18k OBO, and I think you'd probably get at least 17k if the headlights weren't so damn yellow :D

PS - what's up with the wheel iin the bottom-left corner here? Is it a 1st gen 5-spok split? If yes, is it still hanging around?

Those wretched headlights are at the top of the list right now. They're also a consideration in the asking price.
I'd poop my pants if someone offered me $17k. (and I'd certainly take it)

Yes, I have the full set, with those Bridgestones on them in my garage...heading for the basement. I was going to just chuck them in the bed when the truck goes.
I know you're looking for a spare, but these are rough, the caps are missing, the tires are junk and you're far enough that shipping would be too expensive. I did consider reaching out to you. Unless you're looking for a set to refurb, they're probably not the ones for you.

If you are looking for a set to refurb, I will be in Fontana, NC in early April. I'd just need to find a friend who's trailering down to courier them as they absolutely won't fit in the 911. :D

If there was no refurb needed, I'd probably be all over it, and definitely appreciate the transparency there. I was talking with Noah the other day on the topic. There's a salvage yard about 30-40 mins away from me I'm sure has what I need for a full-size spare, in good shape. Life isn't going to clear up enough to get on that until at least mid-March at this point. It's looking like it's my turn to take my turn at jury duty next week, so things may get worse before they get better.

I also have a Jury Duty summons sitting on my kitchen counter that I keep forgetting about. Week of 3/15 for me. I should go tell my boss about that while it's fresh in my mind. :D

I don't worry until they send the one with red font, then I go.

Also if anybody is looking at this and considering buying, I doubt you'll find a cleaner truck. Chris is painfully meticulous.

Check out Adam's polishes graphene headlight restoration kit. I did them on my FGT and the results were great. Granted mine aren't as yellow or faded as yours but it only costs $30 and is worth a try. In your case definitely get their PRO kit.

LOL. We get to call the night before to see if we're go/no-go. I've gotten a whole bunch of these since moving to Indy in 2006. I've only had to go downtown twice.
This is my first since moving out of Indy (next county north). I expect they'll call me for sure.

    Thank you. That's very kind.

Thanks for the recommendation, but these headlights are destined for the bin. I may just buy a new set this weekend and be done with it.

    IKR. All in good fun.
    (also he's not wrong)

Thank you. It's been a fantastic vehicle that's done everything I've ever asked of it.

    Ouch.

Haven't driven the truck much since I posted it FS on account of the lofty fuel costs. Going to drive it again tomorrow as well as wash it again. I'm bound to fall in like with it again, but I've really enjoyed daily-ing my wife's car the last week and a half. I'm definitely a full-time car, part-time truck guy.

What's the undercarriage look like? I'm interested but being from Texas buying trucks from the salt belt worries me. Shoot me a DM with some more pics and info if you can. I'd appreciate it.

    IDK.
I am going to look at its replacement tomorrow after work. (unless it sells today)
I've been losing a lot of sleep lately worrying about cars & trucks.

I'm pretty close to selling the truck and the 911 and just buying a modern car that does it all. I'm so tired of being tired.

I’m dumbfounded no one wants this truck. Best Gen, best cab configuration and a tastefully mild build. Maybe list it on BAT. Get $23k for it. Need a good hype man to type up the “I know what I got” description for you.

    Edit: hate you left man.

IKR. It'll go. I need to do a better job of marketing it. Pretty limited reach having it listed here and over on the other site.
BAT isn't the worst idea ever, but they're months behind on listings. I have two friends under contract with BAT and they're both weeks into waiting for their listings to go live with no estimated listing date.

I'll cross-post the life out of it until I find the buyer.

I didn't want to go, but I was made to feel unwelcome by certain powers that be.

Frame has some surface rust, but nothing remotely structural.
I'm at work til 1400 and then have a graduation party to attend until 1600, but I'm available the rest of the weekend if you want to take a look at it.
