    • David Ekstrom aka Coachbuilder will have access and visibility to this thread. He will likely pop in from time to time to answer questions, but no promises on timelines for his availability. He is busy making goodies for your race truck! You can forward your questions to me and I will make sure he gets them, and I will make a Q&A down below here for common questions as they arise. Trying to keep as many calls/texts off of his plate as possible.

Ekstrom Design reserves the right to open the ordering process early and start doing some shipments if he feels comfortable doing so. That said... Regarding this point:
    • Please Note: When using OE Spindles and installing joint on under side of steering knuckle. you MUST be running at least a 17" wheel with +25mm or less offset. 18″ wheel with a +35 mm offset or less, 20″ or larger wheels work with any offset.
In what case would you mount the steering kit below the knuckle?

You should know better by now to not purchase ANYTHING without asking me first
Ross - Please do! I'll be posting up probably this evening or tomorrow on other FB groups that I am a part of a well to try to drum up some more folks. I would say either have them make an account/post here, you can conglomerate the list on your side, or have them reach out to us at Hotshot Offroad (email, messenger, etc) and we can maintain the list from our end. The choice is yours as long as we get the information in a timely manner and it's in a consumable format.

But the note in OP refers to OE spindles.

I apparently didn't read the question entirely. If your truck has an OE spindle right now the joint of the outer tie rod should be entering from underneath.

OP updated to add aftermarket spindle verbiage as well.
When using OE Spindles and installing joint on under side of steering knuckle you MUST be running at least a 17" wheel with +25mm or less offset. 18″ wheel with a +35 mm offset or less, 20″ or larger wheels work with any offset.

When using Aftermarket Spindles with applications installing joint on the top side of steering knuckle you MUST being running 18" wheels with 0mm offset or less. 20" Wheels require +25mm offset or less.

Gotcha. So this is where the hub spacer requirement comes in with OEM 18" wheels...
