Yeah it’s just a 7 gallon Yakima Roadshower. Pretty universal clamps.

does the RAS eliminate squat? Would I still be able to run a WDH with the RAS? I have Timbrens, TRD sway bar, WDH and a tekonsha brake controller but still squats more than I like.

Squat with a weight distribution hitch? Id check out your leaf packs if they are not flat. You can have the RAS with all the other components and it will improve your squatting and ride comfort. It will lift you around 1-1.5" in the back empty.

Why the RAS if you already have such a beefy spring pack? Isn't the RAS just another spring ?

I find it odd that the RAS only hangs on to the back half of the leaf. Is it possible that making half of the leaf more rigid allows the axle to torque on the front half of the leafs by making the axle a pivot point? I guess this would be axle wrap...

Has anyone experienced any negative affects from running RAS?

At times I haul heavy loads and don't care to destroy $1000 leaf packs. Plus I like the truck to appear empty even when loaded. Also I have BDS recoil traction bars. So, all in all, this truck don't really ever sag or suffer from axle wrap regardless of how much load it is towing or hauling. Not your average Tundra or average owner.

Mechanical forces are absorbed differently. Leaf springs are great absorbing downward force but poor in taking anything horizontal, same to certain extent with shocks. RAS kicks in in that category plus aiding in taking some downward forces off. Axle wrap is horizontal force which RAS greatly reduces. Driving forward, accelerating requires the spring to be at back part of the axle and you have ideal attachment point there. The pressure on the spring allows for a non fixed attachment points.

See the squat with the Timbrens on? Granted my front had a coilover lift to 2.5” and the WDH is set up

I have the RAS HD kit on my 2020 CM Tundra for towing our 27' TT with a WDH. My Tundra does not have a lift and is not 4x4. The RAS made a significant improvement with towing after having only Sumo Springs installed. Squat is pretty much gone along w/ improved handling characteristics (sway, porpoising, etc....).

Ya, this is more looking like a squat cause your are lifted up front. RAS will get the back 1-1.5“ higher. Im not as much familiar with blocks etc for lifting the back, so maybe someone else can recommend more.

Agreed, to my knowledge it is very difficult to eliminate squat on a truck with a lift and/ or a set up for off-roading....
