I haven't had my truck very long and I just noticed this piece is missing. Does anybody have a part number and/or know how difficult it is to install?

Its the roof drip moulding. I just replaced mine. One tip is to add some adhesive to help stay in place. There have been situations that it comes loose in carwashes.

I do find it odd that in all of my cars that have had this (including my tundy), I've never had to replace them and yet this is asked like once a month here. For a company that prides themselves on fixing issues, why hasn't someone said "Hey, a thirteen cent clip here would solve a lot of trouble..."

I am told they are busy working on the cam tower and trailer brake controller issues.

It will forever be an unsolved mystery now that they are dealing with Turbo issues.

According to Toyota HQ in Japan:
"The cam tower task force consisting of one high school student has now been transferred to help the turbo group."

Car wash got me for the second time today! It had been awhile since the first one came off 2 years ago. First time, I didn’t notice it had come off until I got home 30-45 minutes later. Had to cough up the cash for the replacement. I saw this one come off at the wash and was able to retrieve it. Another $5 for 3M tape and should be got to go.
