Costco has been selling Yamaha and Generac for around $500 - about half what they were costing when I looked for a 2000W a few years ago. I had a TT with the smaller AC on the side and I was able to run it on one of these generators. Once you go from 8K BTU to 14K+BTU you'll need more power. I also like the Champions as they had some nice dual fuel options for a good price. I ended up with a Honda and installed a dual fuel conversion kit to use propane. Can run it a lot longer on a propane tank that you already have strapped to your RV and don't have to deal with gas. Like I said though, consider something like the Champion that comes dual fuel ready.

I bought the Predator 3500. Starts when I push the button, runs the 15k btu air, and you can't hear it over the AC. Jury is out on reliability for me as I haven't used it enough to opine.

If you've got them in an RV then fuel them from the main tank or convert them to propane

Maybe it's because the outlet is on the other side? Seriously. I don't thing it makes that much difference in a campground appoved generator and I don't think pointing the exhaust away from the user is anymore than having the outlet facing the RV.

BTW, I run a fully enclosed
Westinghouse igen4500df for my TT. Does everything a 30 amp campground connection does. Very quiet, dual fuel, remote start and sits locked to a D ring in my Tundra bed.

if it doesnt matter than keep the exhaust pointed towards your camper, not mine.

What does one do if using the built in generator in a class A? Everyone I've seen has the exhaust pointed away from the RV.
