Looking for advice on a reputable shop in the Birmingham, AL area to install Bilstein 6112/5160 and CB Shims & Shackles, and do the alignment.

If you wanna do the lift install, I wouldn’t mind helping. Did it on my truck with the Westcott Designs collars. Alignment shop, I still haven’t found one but I didn’t quite need it. Same size lift but different components.

I know it’s a few months late, but did you find a shop?

I'm thinking about going with Frontline Outfitters in Alexander City. Still waiting for my Bilstein 6112s.

@BettyWhite20 I used to live in B'ham. Check out Elite Off Road and Performance in Chelsea, Southern Off Road in Pehlam, and Green Garage in downtown. I've personally taken my car to Elite Off Road and they've always treated me well. Should be a simple job just to install some Bilsteins.

Southern Off-Road won't install customer provided parts unfortunately. I thought about H&H in Pelham or Elite Off-Road, but Elite's quote was crazy high. I think install should be around 4 - 4.5 hrs and they quoted me on like 7 or 8 hrs. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably let them do it. I've heard good things about them. I appreciate the recommendations.

I know it might be a little far out, but I used Lucky Dog Off-road in Madison. They installed my stuff and I really liked the service. They didn’t have the alignment rack but I just went to Firestone Auto Care and got lifetime alignment for around $180. Now I go every 6mths or 6K miles.

Kind of unrelated, but did you have any issues with your tire sensors? Or did you reuse your factory sensors? I can't get mine to pick up. I've been to Discount Tire 3x Tire Engineers 2x and the Dealership 2x. OEM part 42607-0C091 They said my factory sensors off my 18" steel wheels wouldn't work on my alloy 20".

Luckily I did not have any issues with the TPMS. I used the stock ones, they switched them out and they synced fine. Now my truck is the TRD Sport which had the factory 20” sport wheels. So it might have something to do with going from steel to alloy.
