I haven't been able to find a nice mesh one for mine. The nicest looking ones are all modded. Once I find an OEM locally for cheap I'll give it a go, no way I'm cutting up the one on the truck

Here's my modded one. I blended the mesh into the surrounding grille frame. Tedious process, but I'm pretty happy with it.

What's going on with that center emblem? What exactly is that supposed to be? I know Wonger has it also but I really don't get it.

Wow that's a subtle detail, I had to look for a while before I saw what you did. Nice!

Nice blend job that can be appreciated. That had to be painstaking not filling those slots. What did you use to blend?

Thanks. I filled in a couple rows to give it strength, but tried to keep everything else masked off. I still had a lot of clean up work that I used needle files for.

I used the large bottles of two part clear JB Weld and a crap ton of wet sanding.

Does anyone know how to install the bottom billet grill on a 2005-2006 tundra double cab ?

I made my own billet. Actually, its a stone guard and I caulked it in around the inner lip of the bottom opening. You can see pics on my build page. Nothing spectacular, but you’ll be the one to make it happen.

1/3 of the way to swapping out interior bits to make him an SR5+ (Swapped out radio bezel, inner door panels and center cup holder insert… just need to find NM power leather seats… likely never living the full dream of a power sunroof, but alas
    ‘04 DC

all I’ve ever wanted was a grille replacement with 1/2” round holes and no logo… I see them for other brands but never tundra, let alone 04-06 DC

Is it a matter of exclusivity or just that none of the aftermarket makers think that Tundra’s deserve nice things…?

Obviously it would have to bordered/closed off at the bottom but something like this…

Anyone find any true customizing options and not just “custom as in we sell aftermarket stuff” options?

surely there is a 3D print option by now?

I mean, if you want the bullethole crap, go buy a GM truck. There's plenty of bullethole options for those. I feel like that's sorta signature for those. I may be wrong, but my spidey sense is telling me that'd look horrid on a 1st gen.

It’s easier to have a Cobra insignia plaque made that can fit cleanly through that style bumper and be secured than in a slotted one

I can’t actually say with certainty if it would look good or not, even to me without photoshopping a bit for reference, but for what I’d like to do, that style I think makes for a clean look
