Equipment is beginning to be delivered. Is it safe to say I'm rather excited to tear into this. I'll stack everything all nice and neat and take a photo. I've gotta contribute something useful to this thread.

I'm doing some searching around and wondered if anyone has any experience with the following speaker.
    http://www.jbl.com/car-speakers/GX602_.html

Any recommendations for a solid coax speaker that won't break the bank?

I went ahead and ordered POLK Audio DB651's for the doors. All of my ordering is completed. Now it's time to install. That should be completed Friday. Wish me luck.

What did you replace your center dash speaker with? Can you still use voice commands

Nope. @TundraTex has a wiring diagram and specific wiring adapters in his build thread. Check it out.

Thanks man. Yea, you guys helped me out a lot. It'll sound even better once I get those door speakers in and can crank up that little clarion amp. It's only about 1/4 turned up.

I didn't have an actual budget per-say... I was trying to be "cheap" haha. I was trying to find the best products for the least amount of money. Plus I had the subs and amp already. All o had to purchase was the sub box, 4channel amp, wiring and door speakers.

    Sub box ~$250
    Clarion amp ~$90
    4 Guage wiring ~ $25
    Polk Audio Speakers ~$120 combined
    Speaker adapters ~$22 combined
    Misc wiring adapters ~$30
2 kicker 8" subs previously purchased
    Orion 1k amp previously purchased

Took about 6 hours for install. I must be slacking, but you'd never know I had the interior pulled out.

I've always been into car audio, but it's been a few years since I've done my own install. your wiring harness diagram really made everything plug and play. And that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Again.

Glad everything worked out! Does your box fit under that seat and latch down with the floor mat installed? Mine wouldn't. it was so close but just wouldn't latch. I'm not that worried about the floor mat since neither kids feet reach the floor anyway. It would be nice to keep the sand out of the carpet at the dunes. Maybe someday maybe ill take a sander to the front support and try to sand it down a couple C hairs.

I was able to get the seat latched with the floor mat in place. I will say it was close, but they are latched and won't be opened again unless something happens with the subs.
