    Good Day All,Tundra7.jpg

New here. Glad to find an owner's forum. Hoping this will cut down the research time and provide some tried and true guidance. I spend a lot of time in Southern CA's Anza Borrego Desert exploring. Some of the places I like to go are pretty remote and the AAA will not come and rescue, so failure is not an option. I enjoy working on my truck, Tundra8.jpg doing routine maintenance, upgrades, and reliability improvements. I'm always open to the experiences of others. I guess that's what this forum is all about

Welcome! I was actually planning on going there in the next couple of weeks before it gets too hot. Any easy to moderate trail recomendations?

I was going to take my kids to see the metal sculptures and figure may as well get the truck a little dirty.

Welcome, Pat! Several of us have done a bit of exploring in that area, and on out toward Superstition. I hope to run some trails with you sometime.
I hope Pat will give you good suggestions. If you need more, you can probably get good recommendations over on the SoCal Shenanigans thread. That thread has been a bit quiet— because any trip planning on there turns into a 30 truck convoy… which wasn’t the right pandemic vibe— but I know people are going out in small groups regularly, and some even know the names of trails they run.

Pat gave me some great info. I'll have to get more active on that thread. I've been tearing up big bear quite a bit, maybe it's time to get a small local group and try a harder trail.

Thank you. Yeah, that movie was right out of my childhood nightmares. I had to see it!
