Yeah, that's my fear with a softopper, especially if it's far from camp. But when it is, it's just food I they will be able to take for the most part. Knock on wood haven't had issues yet.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
So I am not sure if there is anything like this in your area. However I have a friend that trains dogs to guard businesses etc. Basically you pay him $XXX amount of money to have X number of dogs to have in your lot. I know most of his customers are businesses that are tired of people breaking into the store overnight. They usually pay like $25 per dog per night. It works very well!

Oh man. That is not good. I hate thieves. Pisses me off just reading this. Not sure what i would do but something is needed to get these guys off the street.

I have heard that lights really don't frighten those that are really wanting to steal. It just gives them the light they need to see and get the job done quicker.

Where do i get one of those? That would be a great deterrent if you have to park in a bad part of town.

You might want to consider adding a hidden switch to cut the battery connection so they cant start the truck. Don't leave anything in the truck at all and leave it unlocked to avoid a broken window.

Look into these. These are pretty much a theft proof unless you have a flatbed.
Just don't lose the key they give you and you are good to go. I used these on my plumbing van after it was stolen. Kind of pricey but I think it's some of the best stuff out there.

Motion sensor with a flood light and a high pitched screeching or dog barking sound will do the trick.

Better to have the online switch to the fuel pump vs the battery. The latter is obvious that the battery is disconnected.

Jeez, I got stress just reading this post. Sorry OP that this shit seems so regular around you.

Our dealership pulls all our Tundra fuel pump fuses, so the truck can't start if they try. A couple dealers in the towns over had a couple units taken, but we've been fortunate so far.

Sorry to hear your neighborhood is experience thieves. That's a frustrating experience for sure.

Here is what I did years ago on my first Tundra. I lived in an apartment at the time and break-ins became a big problem. So I installed trainhorns and had them tied into my alarm system. Twice I heard the train horns go off around 2-3am and the thieves didn't stick around at all. Plus all my neighbors neighbors neighbors would wake up and turn their lights on. lol Needless to say no theif could even stand next to my truck with those horns going off. This is also why I always have a Viper alarm with a pager and Viper iPhone app. I get notified immediately when my alarm goes off via my phone and my alarm 2way pager.

Ok I like the train horn alarm idea. They won't ignore that alarm.
