Sorry for the newb question but i just want to make sure. The description says these are adjustable but also say 3" lift. So is it adjustable up to 3"? And the front and back will both be 3" if maxed out?

At maximum the fronts are advertised as providing 3" of lift. I've heard rumors they'll go up to 3.5", but I think you lose warranty if you have issues at that height. The rear shocks don't provide lift, but will work if you have leafs and or shackles adding up to 3" of lift height.

I believe back will be a little higher if you keep factory rake. I have 3" all around on mine and back is higher by a couple of inches because I wanted to keep factory rake.

Shackles add to the lift and are included in the kit.

Don't they have the option to choose from a block, AAL or shackles when ordering the complete lift?

The front coilovers are completely ride height adjustable from 1-3'' in the front end.

For the performance kit we recommend going with the Shackles for the optimum performance.

You install these yet. I’ve got everything but the front coil overs and they should be here this week. Going to install probably next weekend.

Anyone give me an idea of where you placed the collar or how many threads you went down for max height? Doesn’t look like there is any markings. Don’t want to extend past their performance

Also, anyone remove front sway bar?

Been running sway bar free since like 5 or 8 thousand miles...in my opinion, for a truck that sees off road, its a must.

There are easily adjustable while on the vehicle. Take a measurement before installing, adjust while on the vehicle to get the height you want. I think mine came at about 2" of lift.

Yes, I did the install myself. What I did was I measured from the center of the wheel to the edge of the fender. Then made my adjustments based off of that measurement. I did not remove my sway bar, it is still there. I had access to a lift in my company's shop so that made it easier, but I did not remove the wheels to make the adjustments.

Overall it was pretty easy but a word of caution.....I DID have to modify my lower control arms like the disclaimer warns you about in the instructions. No big deal, just some grinding. But just wanted to let you know so you could have the necessary tools on hand in case you need to do the same. Hope this helps.

How much did you have to grind down. Also, how much did raise your rear?

    Thanks for the info!

I would say between 1/16 - 1/8". Not much but the bottom of the strut was not going to sit into the lower control arm unless it was modified, for sure.

So once you grind that down and you install another brand coilovers are you saying the other brand coilovers would be lose because you grinder that amount off?

I haven’t and don’t plan on installing any others, so I can’t say for certain. You may be able to tighten the lower strut bolt enough to make the difference. It was a very small amount. You could always use a shim if needed as well. So it’s not like you ruin the control arm or anything like that.

I don’t know if I said in this post but you won’t be sorry for buying these. They ride very well
