I am wanting to install a power inverter in my truck. I've done this in the past and have everything I need. However, I would like to install a switch to turn the inverter off that is on my dash, as opposed to having to remember to turn it off on the inverter itself. Has anyone done this mod and can they give me an idea of what I'll need? Like I said, I have the wire and fuse I'll need. Thanks!

Hi Doug. I've installed several but none on a separate switch. To run it that way I would connect to a solenoid (I do snowplows at my shop so I'm picturing a Western solenoid). A plow solenoid should accommodate any inverter and you won't need an extremely high amperage switch.
