I ran into the same issue when I went to install my ARB awning on my GOBI. After doing a lot of digging I ran across this website. He makes custom brackets for all sorts of applications. I ordered a set, they were delivered in under a week. They are extremely high quality and went on without a hitch.

    https://www.gzila.com/

Come to find out he started the business out of desperation because he installed a GOBI on his 4runner and GOBI has an 18-24 week wait just for awning brackets.

Oh that's funny I actually have those laying somewhere, i had ordered them to use with the regular sequoia (non-trd pro) roof bars but then ended up getting a great deal on the Rhino Rack roof rack. I didn't even think to see if they would work lol. Thanks for the response!

Thanks, I made my own with parts I had laying around. Ground down the heads on some new SS bolts, added rubber to some 1/8 x 3/4 flat bar, some plastic spacers and voila!

Nicely done! does it rotate on you at all? or is it spanning over the upper and lower roof rack bars?

Great build! I am looking at picking up the Dobinsons IMS 2.5 shocks with 2.5 inch lift all around (and 1 inch front dif drop).
    1) Did you achieve a full 3-inch lift all around?
    2) It seems like you swapped out a lot of parts with the Toyo lift (unless I read wrong?).
    3) My concern was if I added the weight F/R that I want (bumpers, winch, etc. fuel, roof), the 2.5 inch lift will squish down too much.

I really want a 3-inch lift that can be loaded down to a 2.5 inch lift--not a 2.5 to a 2 inch lift. The IMSs can be adjusted for more height but then you chew into pre-load.

    Thoughts?

My lift is a Toytec. I got the 700lb front springs because I am going to put on an ARB front bumper and big winch.
I never measured before/after. I recently had Dobinson 2.5 springs put in the back to replace the OME springs that were way too weak for any kind of load.
I’m still sitting high in front but until I get the bumper/winch installed I won’t know if I’ll be satisfied with the rear

curious how did you mount the tent? I was going to buy the same but did not find any info for reference... is the tent resting on your Gobi? or is it purely on your crossbars?

It was mounted directly to the Gobi cross bars. I bought a trailer and sold the RTT.
If you already have a Gobi, I’ll be selling the cross bars and maybe the sunroof panel as well.

Build is awesome and I'm loving the Gobi rack. I keep telling myself that ill be happy with something less expensive but everytime I see one installed I just think in the end I won't be happy with anything else.
