Can cabin air filtration be added to a 1st gen Tundra, has anyone done it?

    Thank you.

yep bank account is running low from it..
You would have to do some serious mod to the box to accept the filter then a latch to seal behind the latch.

I believe the 2nd gen air box is way off for a retrofit.

Did the 1st gen Sequoia offer cabin filtration?

If my memory is correct they do, don't quote me. It probably not a direct bolt up without some kind of mod work. ( Never looked at it your the first to ask)

    Interesting.. but falls short.

But with it mounted under the seat and not hooked to the vent system in the truck, IMO your defending the purpose is to clean the air not the seat.

I'm thinking it would be more effective if it was mounted on the transmission hump or on the ceiling, but your point is valid.

If you could use some flexible tubing for the exhaust of the unit it might be best. The unit is a big size considering the inside of the tundra.

Especially considering that I have a regular cab Tundra.
