    First post here!

After a bit of waiting I have received a new 2022 Platinum. It has been rather cold here in the midwest this week and it seems like the auto start keeps failing. I hear it engage and it does not start the truck. It almost sounds like a dead battery noise when the battery is far from being drained. Has anyone else experienced this issue yet?

First, Welcome to the Forum! I use my remote start daily without problem, at times in sub-20 degree mornings. Take it to the dealer.

Make sure your doors are locked.

Here are the issues I had:

Welcome! I haven’t experienced any issues with auto start. I’ve used it through my watch, phone and key fob. It even got down to 7 degrees with wind chill down here.

I also received my SR5 TRD Off-road and yesterday last few days weather was around -20 celcius. Truck doesn't seem to like cold start.. I am debating if I should get a block heater...

as a Canadian that has never owned a vehicle without a block heater, they certainly do make life below zero easier. The only consideration is how cold it gets as the thermostat doesn't usually trip the heater to kick in until temps drop to 15-20 degrees celcius.
If that sounds like your situation get one and enjoy the quicker warm up time and easy starts.
