Finally - Picking up my tundra on Friday

Build date 12/2. Went through a 2 week QC-hold and multiple pushbacks.

Those that have their trucks, have found or have experienced issues. What do I have to check before I leave the dealership. Cosmetic, structural, etc.

    Much appreciated.

    Thanks

I had a cracked camera lens on my driver side tow mirror. And some sloppy vinyl work on one of the “A” pillars.

Before everyone loses their mind…My dealer is working with Toyota to cover the camera lens. And I fixed the vinyl with a business card in about 30 seconds.

Some of the leather work has been rough in a couple of pictures.

Depending on who you are working with and how far you’re traveling, it may be worth recording a real detailed video walk around of it. That way if you find something later you have evidence it occurred prior to pickup.

Congrats on arrival of the truck!

Take a look at the entire thing if you can. If you see something point it out and don’t let them shyster you into settling. In the end it’s a lot of money and your going to be in it all of the time. Might as well make sure your getting what you paid for. Congrats on the new rig.

Agreed. I didn’t have the luxury. Was 3 days post op after a surgery and all I wanted to do was get the truck and head home. Didn’t even do much more than a quick walk around.

    learning experience for sure
