No kidding. Lame that the pack only comes with 5. I fortunately had one extra from my pack of five from when i installed on my Tacoma previously :)

Probably done on purpose to force you to buy another. If you needed 4, the pack would have 3. Figures

im not sure if i would buy another yeti...i love them they are great. but i would like to try another kind out. pelican is the same price. there are these k-2 coolers and they sell "damaged" ones that have some marks minor abrasions and are still under warranty. and half the price.

Officially bear proof. Found out the hard way though. Got slapped around along with everything else at our campsite while out fishing. Couldn't lock it up it the truck. No roads. Normally would hang food stuffs high up on a tree limb where the Brownie's can't get to it. Too far north. No trees. They are definitely rugged. Ubiquitous brand cooler in AK. Yeti's are facing more competition so maybe they will be forced to lower prices. Had mine over ten years now and gets heavy use. Not unusual for Yeti to repair a cooler and even replace beyond 5 years if there is an obvious rare mfr defect. Customer testimonials verify. If your not around giant bears then there is the cheaper route. There are a lot of lower cost coolers out there that can take some serious abuse.

We ship our lab instruments all over the place in Pelican cases and they have stood up to a lot of abuse. I use a Pelican waterproof case for my personal camera/lens equipment. Wouldn't use anything else.

the bumper i would say is around $500, because someone slammed into the back of me before and thats what they gave me. tailight i dont see over 100. now the tailgate and fender is i have no clue. my friend who is saavy said if its tig welded they will cut and fix. if its bolted they replace the whole thing. tailgate has some damage but idk what they would do.

I think the bed panel uses welds and bolts and is usually replaced due to labor time involved. I think.

My friend does a lot of blasting at his gravel pit in AK. Never asked him if he was doing it legal. I didn't have a need to know. Heh heh. Things are somewhat different there on following the law out in the sticks. (which is pretty much the whole state)
