Ive got Aluma 2.5 up front set to about 3" of lift with Toytec shackles in the rear at 1.5". Also have SPC UCAs which helped clearance. I did the CMC/BMC and fabbed up my own mud flps similiar to Rokblokz. I love it.

Your (Lisa's?) Komodo build is officially one of my favorites. I didn't know it until now, but I'm definitely one of the big-tire-small-lift guys. Also in the southwest.

I have about 25k miles left on my current 35s. Thanks to this thread I am pretty sure I'm gonna upgrade to some wheels with a +25 offset and 37" inch tires.

Currently I've got 2.5" lift up front from Kings. Think I'll need to increase my lift up to the full ~3"? Would be frustrating to re-align everything but worth it. I have Total Chaos UCA. I also have some bumper shims and would really love to replace my front bumper altogether, but big-ass tires have become my priority. Besides, there's a good chance I'll get the opportunity to try the auto bumper delete one of these days if I keep it up.

The rear is stock. I'm waiting on my alu-cabin to come in and then I'll get all my gear in there and go work on getting the rear height sorted out. I have kings back there too. I'll probably go with a new spring pack because I'm already gettin lots of squeaky noises from the OEM.

*back to drooling over those glass fenders*

I don’t know how you guys are fitting 37’s. I’ve got 35’s with a BMC and have very little room left near the BMC on full turn.

I have the same wheels and I'm jumping to 37s next week. I did an aggressive BMC, 4 degrees positive caster with Ironman UCA's, and will do the necessary pinch weld mod as needed once the tires are on. I can't be absolutely certain they will clear everything, but I'm pretty sure

35s are on back order with no ETA and the 37s were available. I'd go with 35s and save myself the ass pain...but oh well. If 37s don't fit, looks like I'll return the 37s, wait for my 35s that I already have on back order and get some spacers for my steelies so I can stop hitting my UCA

Thanks man! Yeah the offset going down to +25 from 0 will let you run the 37s pretty easy on the amount of lift you have now. We recent switched to the icon RXT leafs on option 2 with a Total Chaos 3/4” shackle and I’m really happy with the height and ride.

if those rims are 0 offset and you want to go to 37s, there’s a good bit more involved. Especially if you go off road and articulate the tires up into the wheel well. You’ll need fiberglass fenders to accommodate that.
Here’s our first set of 37s on a +18 offset wheel. If it was 0 offset it would have removed the fender instead of just the liner. And that was with the wheel straight.

With fitment being so close on these trucks, it definitely seems as if the devil’s in the details. I’m going with a 37x12.5 BFG KM3, which as you know runs short and narrow for a 37”. Additionally I have a 1/4” bump stop spacer left over from a previous spacer lift that’s still installed. Lastly, while I do take my truck off the beaten path, I’m a slow wheeler. I don’t think I will ever find myself in a high speed “whoops” type scenario.
And if it really comes to it, I’ll bite the bullet for some fiberglass.
Tires arrive at the shop on Tuesday, I’m holding my breath!

Why'd you change to the RW wheels with no offset? I'm weighing the options of offset vs. RW wheels + fiberglass fenders. Either way it looks like I'm going to pay about $300/wheel. Some initial thoughts:
    • New wheels w/ +25 offset
      • Easy + cheap
      • May still need to buy some fender flares, but not 100% necessary
      • Positive offset looks pretty cool and aggressive... However, I live in a big crowded city and already can't park some places. Even on trails and shit I could see need those extra couple centimeters rarely. Maybe this is a wash?
    • RW Wheels w/ 0 offset
      • OEM fitment. I've never heard a complaint about the RW wheels.
      • Fiberglass fenders needed. That's ~$650 if I install myself... And I don't really have the space or support right now so let's say it costs me total $1200 out the door including install. That's a lot of money. But damn they take the truck from work truck to badass instantly. I think the big fenders is the main thing about the Ford Raptor styling that people like so much.
      • I have the total chaos UCA, which I guess aren't adjustable like the SPC brand.... So I might even be buying new UCA.
      • Likely have to adjust the lift on the kings up front which would necessitate new alignment as well.
Now that I'm talking all of this through I can't really make an argument for a 0 offset wheel given all the extra work. Am I making any major sacrifices with a +25 offset?

Regarding the 37s in general, how do y'all carry around a spare? Like I was saying earlier I'm waiting on my alu-cabin canopy camper. Technically I'll have secure storage in the canopy, worst case. But damn that'd eat a lot of my precious inside room. It has a tire mount on the rear door which would be amazing but I think due to the door swing it is limited to a 33" tire. I've heard of folks putting 35s on there so maybe there will eventually be some adapters/mods to make space for 37s as well. Those hinges better be strong though.

Be real with me, how ugly would these wheels look? I mean they're just so damn cheap relative the to the rest of my options. I'm really considering it. I can always repaint if I hate them one day right? haha Alpha Command Red

Nice! Alright I took this a step further.... Rough approximation of what I'll be looking at.

*edit* I got excited about this and made a whole bunch of little mock-ups to tie the red wheels in with accents. enjoy! I should figure out how to add a poll...

Clears with tons of room to spare on the street. I took it out in the woods and flexed er up a bit, I didn’t look to see how much clearance I had but it didn’t rub anywhere.

Well you’re definitely right. Now I’m even more confused. Why couldn’t @KevinK fit his 37s on the rock warrior wheels without the aftermarket fenders? Maybe I misunderstood. If +25 offset was good enough to run 37s with only a 2” lift and stock UCA, why’d he have to get the SPC UCA, etc?

I don’t think kevin ever had RW wheels. Atleast not his last 3 sets of wheels or so. You can’t run RW wheels without spacers on 12.5” wide tires, they’ll hit the uppers. And he has Icon billets, not SPC. Lol. He had to get those because he insisted on getting beadlocks because @osidepunker told him not to. And so when he switched to 0 offsets on 37’s, he needed the on truck adjustability to get proper alignment. Plus they match his pretty Icon shocks. That’s also when he got glass fenders. He quickly discovered you can’t fully stuff 0 offset on 37’s into the stock fenders by stuffing his 37’s into his stock fenders and destroying his brand new 37’s and his new beadlocks wheels. I might’ve made that part up.

Anyways, just forget everything you’ve ever read about Kevin’s truck. He’s a complete lunatic and you don’t want to go down his path of absurdity.
