Hi all - from what I can tell the engine noise enhancement through the cabin speakers is not on all trims. I'm starting to wonder if It's tied to the JBL sound system so that my upcoming Canadian Limited trim does not have it. Do any of you know? Are there details on this anywhere? I don't think I care either way but maybe leaning towards not having being better for the quietest cabin possible.

Yeah this is definitely a thing but not sure on scope. There are some mentions on various YT videos. That Automative Press YT channel from Vancouver says it's formal name is "ENE - Engine Noise Enhancer"

The article that is causing my question is this one from motor trend.

Yeah, I see what you're talking about now. I would sure hope that one could turn it off on those trucks so equipped. Seems like such a waste of money to me. They should make it an option that you could purchase if you wanted such a thing.

So up here in Canada, platinum only. Every trim under that will not have the piped in engine noise.

well, the 5.7 doesn't need an ENE especially if your running dual exhaust.

Need it for what? Making up for gaps in my self esteem by driving a naturally aspirated V8 like a real man?
