That's going for a decent price. At that price point, there is no reason not to opt for the Bully Dog.

They have one for the 14's now...but said the gain is only up to 13hp...not worth it, IMO.

You can pay the similar price for a hypertech with many more features available from the BD.

I skimmed thru the manual on BD's web site and there are a lot of useful features on the Tundra version such as zero point calibration. Gives you control over over a lot of functions. It was a very detailed list. Much more comprehensive and sophisticated than the competition. The BD folks seem to be the best for cracking Toyota's code which means there should be some good updates forthcoming too. A little pricey but very versitile tuner for those that want to go this route.

Not yet, 2015 compatibility/programming has not yet been released.

This also does not work yet with FFV.

It's risky overriding the ecu... That's the part that may not be with it. The hp gain isn't what you should look at though. It's the tq gain that we all need! Another 22 pounds would really get those 35s moving and help with mpg. But it's a risk! I still like the hypertech setup over this. I still may try it at some point though.

I agree about your HP TQ statement which is why i try to steer people away from aftermarket CAI - never hitting redline in a truck everyday so why spend money on gains you'll never use.

Your best option for great torque gains are going to be LT headers

Some people using the hypertech state that sometimes the ECU will adapt with the way the hypertech works therefore nilling any gains. Flashing the ECM is the best tuning option to not have an ECU learn around. People have been using aftermarket engine SW for a long time with billions of worry free miles, that doesn't bother me personally...just ensure when your flashing to hook up a battery charger otherwise you could brick it.

How does not having a battery charger on it brick it?

yep bank account is running low from it..
Drop in battery voltage/amps when the powered is applied for a long time to the battery. You must have a external source do to the engine not running but the ecm and the rest of the truck has power also.
