I’m banned from one SATX dealership. Was having an off day and the douche sales got lippy.

You're not getting off lightly with a vague explanation. We want the details on this lippy D-bag story.

 

When is Toyota resuming production? They have been idle for days now.

 

They have placed a temporary hold on tundras 1794 and platinum edition and some limited tundras since december 15th. They have yet to tell the dealer why they are holding these vehicles. It could be one - two weeks before they release them. Tundra is not the only vehicle Toyota is holding up on the dealers.

 

For those of you who have one ordered, when did you officially order it, have you got it yet, how long did it take, and/or when is your eta now? I feel like every week I am told "one more week," and have been for a month now.

 

Meaning it could be another 1-2 weeks? Or are you saying it’s 1-2 weeks from build date?

 

My local dealer just put one up as on the way.

Welcome Raphael from Georgia. I have a general question. Do the top trims like the Platinum and 1794 include Carpet floor mats and Door sill protectors at no additional cost?

For what it’s worth I did talk to him yesterday but they only had a two trucks both limited 4x2 , one black and one blueprint. No markeups or silly add ons.

Delivery eat. Feb 14 as of now

 

I was supposed to take delivery of mine on Dec. 20 but then the ETA of that unit fell off (they still haven’t received the original one I ordered). There was a CrewMax w/6.5 ft. bed that was supposed to come in on the 20th as well that ended up arriving on Jan 6th, and that’s the model I ended up purchasing. My dealer told me that their current ETAs seem to be 2-3 weeks off.

 

Arrived at dealership today 2/3/2022

 

Kept back for fixes I imagine. I bet your new truck will be perfect. Let us all know how it goes.

 

I hope so, been following others with turbo problems. Fingers crossed . But I must say my dealership has been exceptionally good throughout the order process. My first “new” Toyota.
