Hi everyone! Does the prior generation running board fit on the current 3rd gen? I just picked up a Crew Max and saw this on Auto Anything:

    https://www.autoanything.com/hitch-bed-accessories/61A25738A0A0.aspx

The part number is the same as the one sold on Amazon for 07-21 Tundras.

I tried the search function and did not see anything that related to this question. Apologies if it has been discussed before.

I tried my predator style steps from my 2019 and it did not work. Brackets were not long enough to reach the mounting points

Thanks for the feedback! I chanced it and ordered. I have a transcript of the conversation with the rep so I’ll be good returning it if it doesn’t line up like yours.

OP, any update? Did it fit or did you end up returning?
Assuming it didn't work if Paradizecityz 2019 didnt fit but just curious if you had any luck?

Auto Anything ended up canceling my order 3 days later after they confirmed it would fit. I’m guessing they found out it didn’t.

Ended up getting OEM ones from Sparks Toyota.

Thank you, did you go trd style or the standard tube/oval style. Was curious if the oem tube/oval style had adjustable heights when installing? From some pictures they look closer to the body where other pictures they look like they drop down some.. could just be camera angle..

I went with standard tube ones. They are definitely close to the body. I can barely stick my toes underneath the cab when climbing up on it.

Awesome! Looks great, I'll be purchasing a set of these so i can run them until AMP Research has the automatic powerstep available.. which unfortunately I dont think they will until end of year.

I think the stock photo looking like that is due to someone taking the photo at a 45 degree angle into it. mine is definitely closer fitting and the gap is smaller than it seems. the width is just thicker compared to the trd ones it seems.

I just had the TRD Running Boards installed.
The parts guy said he liked Amp Research products but not Go Rhino. He also did not like power boards because they could get damaged and there are more parts to fail. Interesting that he was not necessarily pro OE vs. after market.
I think he power boards look good, both OEM and Amp Research, and would be bets used by owners that do not intend to go off much, if at all.
