Fun watching people starting mods on their 3rd gens. Saw this on instagram, not sure if its been posted or owner is in the forums but looks great!

It looks good, but personally, I'd have a real hard time drilling holes in the roof of my brand new $60k+ truck.....call me old fashion. And the "drip rail" is where the water is intended to run.

    From their website:

Note: The Tundra roof rack solution does require drilling & installing rivets into your factory drip rail. The lack of factory option for a roof rack means that you don't have mount points for attaching your new upTOP rack until you make them. We include all the required hardware for performing this modification & technical support staff is available for questions & to assist you during your installation.

So in a couple years they can sell a "black" or "night" package and charge you more. :spending:

As soon as they stop selling them with chrome, everyone will want chrome again

the hell? I don’t plan to put a roof rack on but is there seriously no option for one? My last Tacoma had some pre tapped spots where you could instal and oem or aftermarket option. I figured it would be the same with the tundra.

That does seem to be a bit of a miss. Especially with how popular Broverlanding has become. So many people around here just cruise around town with their fully kitted out trucks with roof top tents and everything.

I’m not sure about you guys but you can sure as hell never see me put “rivenuts” in a 60+ thousand dollar truck. I’ve never had good luck with them had them on my second truck I ever owned when roof light bars were cool and it leaked like a sive.

I see your point but there are thousands of people who have installed these and Prinsus without an issue. At least not an outcry on the inter webs. To each their own, don’t want it, don’t do it, but it’s not an issue if you do it right.

So did I! I had an OEM roof top canoe rack installed on our 2012 Tacoma and they're perfect for my needs. I'm thinking I'll have to get a set of racks on the bed that'll work with a rolling or folding tonneau. Sad.

I understand your point don’t get me wrong I’ve installed a Uptop on my Tacoma but it had the factory mounting points. The rivenuts just scare me is all people have great success but I haven’t haha

So true! It’s typically the 25-40ish males with a mustache who have to have everything installed for them. But hey, to each their own when I find their rigs for sale and don’t have to pay a penny for their unused upgrades. Ya’ll know who I am talking about. Short sleeve floral or plaid shirt and always parked for sushi!

Lightly-used. You have to go once or twice to prove to the SO and fam that it wasn’t wasted money. But then when they have a horrible time, you can complain about how you “never to get to go anymore” to your buddies as you sip your organic, sustainably-sourced, gluten-free sake.

They are waiting on parts to delete the chrome. Running 4 Tacos is a quality shop here in Denver highly recommend them for this customer service and selection.

Anyone know the specs of his wheel/suspension setup? Looks like 17s on 35s? Doesn't even look like a huge lift, maybe just a leveling.

I much prefer more tire, less wheel. I can't stand 20" rims on trucks.

So the Capstone isn't for you then? lol.
