    My name is Jim Prahl
I live in Norfolk, NE and i own a 2008 Tundra SR5. Bought new and it has 216000 mies on it now.
I put i a transmission at 204000 and now it has 216000 on it. My problem is i drove my truck on Tuesday with no problem and parked it in the driveway that night and never moved it on Wednesday. So on Thursday, i go out to run to the store. Started the truck and put it in reverse and it did absolutely nothing tried forward nothing as well. Truck runs fine but the tranny doesn't acknowledge it was even put in gear.
Any thoughts are sure welcome. Its currently at a transmission repair shop.

Maybe a wire came loose or was chewed through by a rodent?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! It sounds like the wire slipped off in your shifter. I've been told that is not a difficult fix. Have you checked that?
