I think that it is far enough back that you could roll down the rear window and lightly pull down the rear of the headliner to access the bolt but the hole is rectangular. I have actual measurements somewhere but it is about 0.5" wide by1" long. The bolt is an M6 and there is a T-shaped electrical connector.

Has anyone actually removed their antenna for good and would want to sell it? I have been working on a relocation plate but don't want to have to take mine off all of the time. I am thinking about buying one from a dealer.

Im in this damn debacle… im currently on 3/1 level kit with 33’s & 20’s and have this much clearance at the opening of my garage and this stupid cross beam(see photos)

Garage opening(that is a rubber seal just to the right of tape measure)

    This is the cross beam.

I wanted a 6in lift with 35’s but thats going to cut it wayyyy too close if not cut it completely. So I think if I do a 5in lift with 35’s I’ll cut it close but i’ll still be able to get in. I was hoping for a flat antenna cover but i see there are none.

Get onboard air tanks and drop your tire pressure to 8 so you can squeeze in the garage. Then when you leave, raise back up to desired level :D:anonymous:

If I was in your shoes, I’d definitely build a new shop with a 12’ tall door to fit your lifted truck with a camper. If you’re married, tell your wife you were advised on a forum. If you don’t have room, buy a ranch in Montana. :)

they make a garage door opener that mounts to the side of garage door so you can run track closer to ceiling.Modification is required but may fix your problem

Anyone able to compare the shark fin on the tundra versus a 5th gen 4runner?

Should have got a Tacoma. Why would anyone get a big truck to park in confined space. Garages of the HOA's were meant for the 4 door people haulers, not trucks. If you are like most folks the garage is a place to store our overflow, no room for vehicles.

Appreciate the input lol. The Tundra fits just fine in my garage since it has a 8 foot tall opening. Just not a fan of the shark fin. It’s no big deal but since I saw this thread, thought I’d ask.

First part of this comment makes 0 sense.
Second part about the garage being for people's junk, deffinately seems to be a universal truth.
