@Clemshady i can tell, you guys are my kinda people. We ever have meet ups? ( Is tundra meetups a thing? :)

I actually just bought the tundra at the beginning of this year and I hated the chrome so much I tried aftermarket and got hosed! So I went with this company and they did amazing. So amazing I wanted to join a forum and pimp them out, and here we are. The only hard part is installing this weird bracket thing, but it says OEM from Toyota so I was pumped and easy to install after figuring that out after calling their customer service. Yadda yadda, don’t want to get yelled at again for promoting something but they rock!

    Anywho,

@Gravy love the creativity. Love taking the tundra up in the montana mountains!

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Well, we're glad your happy with the product you got. Yes, Tundra meet-ups are totally a thing. Trick is finding the group in your area. Look for members from your area or nearby and hit them up, they'll probably know if there's any groups you can get in touch with. Keep posting them awesome pics, we're like a bunch of adolescent boys with a playboy when it comes to Tundie pics :D

I sell all kinds of stuff you don't need!
We haven't had any Tundra meet-ups that I am aware of, but I might make a run at setting something up later this fall. Hopefully before the snow starts sailing around!

Thanks for the recommendation. I am giving these some thought. It bugs me that my rear bumper is painted and my front is chrome. I'd prefer they match.

Is the “weird bracket thing” you refer to part of the rear bumper cover install?

From what I gather you have not installed the front bumper end caps yet, correct? It is my understanding that you will need a couple of seals for the front end caps install. Did you order the additional seals? I am asking since I placed an order through the same place for the front caps the other day and I had to order the seals separately.

@memario1214 “stuff you don’t need” haha
Let me know if you need help with setting up the meet up.

@JDR76 I’d highly recommend either ordering from Reve Moto or PaintedOEMparts.com from my research but I am extremely happy with paintedoem purchase hints why I’m here. Ha. Super easy after I watched some YouTube videos.

@CorpsTundra that is very helpful! I did order the front end cap on yesterday. I will have to do my research on these seals you’re talk about. I don’t want to stall the installation when they arrive.

Glad to help, I figured either they sent the parts with yours or you weren’t aware that they were needed. Here is my response to another thread with the part numbers that I found other members have used.

“According to other threads you will also need the following parts for install (you will have to buy these from a Toyota dealer - $50 total):

Right Bumper Cap Liner Extension Seal: OEM - 53882-0C060

Left Bumper Cap Liner Extension Seal: OEM - 53883-0C050

(Qty-2) Toyota Side Molding Retainer Clip - Genuine OEM - 75392-0R010”

Well it took all morning but I got my matched bumper end caps from Painted OEM Parts installed

as promised - I said I’d do a mini review,

they were here in less than a week after I ordered them. (Still waiting 3+ weeks for color matched door handles from sparks)

the packaging was great, they came in a cushioned box and then each piece inside an official Toyota bag that resembled one of those cooler bags from the grocery store.

They were powdered to prevent scratches?

Paint finish is spot on, I wasn’t sure I was gonna do the install myself so I took them to a local body shop for a quote and the tech there was even impressed at how spot on the match was.
    Great product

I'm hoping to have time to put mine on this weekend. I'm a little intimidated by it. I did get the grille swapped out, though. Very happy with the quality and paint matching from these guys.

I was intimidated as hell, mainly because I found/find all of the guides, videos, write-ups to be impossible to interpret or lacking pics.

Don’t do what the “go rhino” video tells you. As you can see it was much easier to remove the bumper fascia than the entire thing. The one write up that someone did here was closest to what I did. I’ll try to find it. Basically just do the wheel Wells, the clip under the headlights, the grill, the bar that runs along the top, and the bolts into the skid plate and the whole thing pops off. Disconnect fogs too obv

once you’re just in there it’s kinda easy to connect the dots, I’m a complete beginner

Thanks. That's pretty much what I figure - just dive in and get it done, and it'll become clear what I need to do.

I received the bumper end caps last week. They were shipped in a timely manner and packaged well. Zero flaws in the finish. Painted OEM Parts’s customer service was great as well, so I would not hesitate to order from them again.

I installed the cement bumper end caps over the weekend. The color match is good, possibly a bit on the light side, but my opinion changes depending on the lighting and angle I’m looking at them. I think that is probably just the nature of the cement color.

    C3DF4C2D-1027-4CB4-902E-868DC388A9F7.jpg

I took the bumper off to change the end caps and it was not too difficult. I basically learned as I went and took pictures along the way for references when putting it all back together.

One thing that I did have trouble with was lining everything up when I got it back on the truck. Without the grille and trim pieces under the headlights installed I basically guesstimated the position of the end caps. I was off somewhere, since the gap between the top of the bumper and the grill is uneven, with the passenger side having a larger gap than the driver’s side. I am going to attempt to adjust the bumper fascia pieces to correct the problem and if that does not work I will see what I can do to level it out using the main bumper mounting brackets.

I’ve done one myself, I painted everything instead of going with AJT. I replaced my big silver radio bezel with a black one from the SR model, too
