Recommended MD Dealers for Service?

    What dealers have you all had good service experiences with? Any in particular to stay away from?

    Service advisors, techs?

    I work in Montgomery County, live in Frederick, so I'd prefer to stick to those areas.

    Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg is who I use and recommend. Stay away from Darcars. Took my truck for there for service at 3k miles to resolve an issue with a braking issue. As well as a air pressure in the the back tire. They couldn’t find the leak. The brake issue is they wanted to charge me for rotors.

    Fitzgerald resolved all the issues, by covering the rotors under warranty. The tire losing air pressure was because of a screw. Again they were super reasonable in cost to take care of the problem.

    In southern MD, Toyota of Southern Maryland is good. They are professional and seem to good work from what I can see. Took my 2018 in recently for an oil change, they ended taking care of the airbag recall as well. Had work done there about 10 years ago on my Tacoma, again, professional service and work was done on time and no complaints.

    I haven’t found a dealer I love, but Fitzgerald is good and darcars is mediocre. Sadly, I found a great dealer with the best service writer right before I traded in my ford.

    Koons Toyota in Westminster were very polite and helpful. I did not end up going to them for my work (wheel and tire alignment) but they actually referred me out to a shop to have it done even though i wasn't giving them my business. Really great people there.

    Thanks for the replies. I ended up having my oil changes done at Jim Coleman in Bethesdaas they were convenient to my office. Not bad for the most part. Tech left greasy hand prints on the side of my truck, though.

    Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick has been good when I have needed them. They are easy to work with and communicate with you throughout whatever you are having done. They also wrk to fit you into the schedule as they can.

    If you want to go to a dealership...Koons Toyota in Easton Maryland would be a good idea. I work in Annapolis and live out in Centreville. Prices are more reasonable in Easton vs Annapolis

    Iron Pig Offroad in Fredericksburg. The east coast experts on Landcruisers, but Toyota is their thing. Their shop is like a Landrcuiser museum.
