IDK what to say. Maybe look a little harder? OEM filters. Purchased and used several times. No issues.

I'm a fan of Sparks (bought my SC'd truck from them), but toyotapartsdeal.com is where I buy the majority of my OEM parts. I'm not sure, but I believe they source from whichever dealer has the best price because when I receive orders they are usually drop shipped from different dealers within a few hundred miles of my location. Usually no other source can beat their pricing after shipping, and that includes Cool Springs (Roman) or Sparks.

Wal-Mart online is like Amazon. Most of their listings are sourced from external vendors and routed through their selling and distribution channels.

Learn something new every day. Just like Amazon and counterfeit parts, it is buyer beware IMO.

I was just going to say - check to make sure it's truly a Yota part - just cause it's in a box that looks like it, doesn't mean it is. Me personally, having learned from personal and costly experiences, I order maintenance parts from the brand's parts department, and generally have a small stock on hand.

@MSU Tundra - I have used toyotapartsdeal.com as well, and found that they do the same thing - they order it through local dealers at a discounted price (since they're not paying for free coffee, couches, etc. :D). fordpartsdeal.com as well does the same thing (literally got a price quote from my local dealer, then went to toyotapartsdeal.com, ordered the same thing and was fulfilled THROUGH my local dealer...)

Again - just verify where the parts are truly coming from.

Getting my grab handle package from Sparks on Wed - we'll see how the purchase goes - hopefully no problems

On a slightly random note - I limit my purchases from Amazon now as they've basically turned into a Chinese flee market IMO - if you want to buy US sourced goods (or German, Japanese, etc.) you're better off going through their own sales sites. To each their own
