After 20 years on various forums as a car enthusiast, I figured it was time for my first proper build thread. I learn so much from others that I wanted to contribute to the community.

I’m a die-hard Toyota loyalist. In the US and East Africa, I’ve owned Tacomas, 4Runners, Land Cruisers (diesel and petrol), Tundras and Hilux’s. They’ve never let me down and that has kept me in the fold.

Now that I’m older and have some money to spend, I figured now was the time. After realizing the 22s weren’t going to be readily available for awhile, I picked up a 2019 from the local dealership I used to work at. 4x4 SR5, 58k miles, one owner, and one of the cleanest trucks I’ve seen.

Suspension, wheels/tires, Decked system, full lighting package from Diode Dynamics, and other fun things have been ordered and are starting to arrive. Will start posting soon.

First modifications going in today. Curious to see how I end up liking the Decked system.

I HATE the latches on the Decked tool boxes that come with it (and I bought extra), but I’ll either modify them or replace them in time. For now, I’m eager to start loading this thing up.

I got the idea from the Victory 4x4 Tundra, and decided to add a cab and hood blackout to tie it all together.
