    Bone stock, so far...
    Hi everyone,

Been learning on the forums for the last couple months - thanks to all of you for your inspiration, it's been fun to learn. Have finally planned out the majority of my build and wanted to start a thread for it. This is my second Tundra, had an '02 SR5 from 2010-2020 - was my daily but never did much to it in the way of modifications. Now I'm able to sink some "fun money" into a light/medium build and want to make a vehicle ideal for me.

At this point the purpose of this thread is to get feedback. Out of the below list, what have you had/used? If there's an item you'd recommend over one I'm thinking about, I'd love to hear why! I'm here to learn and excited to post progress as I make upgrades.

The truck: 2021 Limited 4x4 TRD off road package
Planned use: It's my daily but want it to be more than a mall crawler. Planning to do some baja trips to fish on the gulf side, camping in CA/AZ/Utah, and medium-light overlanding (in Baja and other areas).

Here are my plans so far:

    Bed:
    Leitner rack
storage containers, shower mounted on rack
RTT - going between picking up a used Tepui for now or going more all-in with a clamshell like GFC

    tires/wheels
-method 18s, or might leave these stock for now and powdercoat
    -295/70/18 bfg k02

    Suspension:
probably fox 2.0 coilovers. Could probably be talked into doing bilstein 5100s or fox/king/icon equivalent. What would you do?

    bumper:
c4 front, thinking the hybrd one but also dig the heavier looking overland bumper
    BD S8 light bar
    BD fogs

    Grill:
honeycomb or trd. I like both but think the honeycomb is a little less common amongst upgraded trucks. Might also do the DB Customz Tundra grill, but not sure I want to put that $$ in the grill.

Clearly still have some decisions to make, but I welcome your input and opinions!

Welcome to the forum, as for your grill, while changing add a 1/4" grid hardware cloth in front of your a/c condensor to keep the bugs and rocks
from destroying it. I would also install a decent tranny cooler while in there. Good luck!

Where did you get the black fuel door? Very cool detail.

Same thing here, ordered mine from Amazon and got lucky to get an open box last one deal. They look good, but not very high security. A simple screwdriver will easily defeat it.

Just a little update because my credit card has gotten some exercise...I've got wheels, tires, and suspension ready to go on later this week.

Ended up doing Method 701 17s, tires are 285/75/17, and suspension is fox 2.0 coilover.

Will post pictures when this phase is done!
