Nice! One of the reason I’m getting a 2022 Tundra. Needed something to haul the R1 to track days this year.

Same here. 'not a truck guy' now a truck guy ;). I got black widow 10 foot arched ramps and the no drill chock. Works great

Ohh. You used a front wheel chock. I was wandering why the V4 was sitting so far back. When I had my R1 on a 2015 tundra 5.5ft bed it was barely touching the tailgate, but your V4 rear tire was sitting on tail gate. Was thinking no way a V4 wheel base is that long.

I was wondering about that as well. I was hoping my bikes would have a bit more room than that and thought the Panigale would be shorter than both.

I actually need to get new ramps anyway. I like the chock but won’t have room for one unfortunately. 790 ADV R & 1290 Super Duke GT. :)

Where do you track at? I'll be out at Summit a few times next Summer and maybe NJ Motorsports once or twice time permitting.

NJMP is my closest track (~2 hrs away). Going to mostly be there. Would love to try summit (3hrs away) one day when time allows.

I was hoping to get a crewcab 6’5 bed TRD sport so I can close the gate with bike loaded but a 5’5 bed in the specs I wanted popped up first. I’ll just get a bed extender. Pic of the R1 loaded in a 2015 Limited short bed when I brought it home.

What ramps are you all using to get your bikes into the truck? Any recommendations?

Here are some more pics of the chock. hard to tell clearly from the photo, but you lose about 5 1/2 inches with the chock.

What club do you run track days with? I tracked with N2 a very long time ago, getting back into it for the 2022 year. Probably going to go with N2 and Evolve GT since they both have days scheduled that align with my work schedule. I've got a 5.5 bed CM and the truck is lifted so I just run the bike in my side business' trailer. Takes about a halfhour to take out the gear/shelfing. Made my own floor mounts welded to the frame underneath. Some of the shelving/stuff stays inside as it doesn't bother anything. This is the day I brought my current bike home.

Those are sweet. I have a similar designed 10" wide ramp but it's so sketchy loading into the bed of the truck. Unless I have a hill to back up to, I refuse lol. With the lift/rake I have...it's a long fall without being able to put your feet down if you don't line it up on the first go.

Probably going to run with N2, seems like they do NJMP at least once a month. And I’ll be doing YCRS in May at NJMP. Signed up for 2 day champ school. Haven’t decided what days for rest of 2022 yet. Since I didn’t think I actually buy a truck this year. Was planning on using 4Runner and uhaul this year since I sold 2015 tundra last year.

Nice, what class do you run with N2? NJMP is a bit farther from me than Summit so I likely wont go there much (if at all). Just need to figure out my summer schedule.

Nice man. I ran intermediate but that was back in 2014. Haven't seen a true track day since then. I'll probably start back at novice to get my feet wet again. It's all the same shit really, just less supervision lol.

Doing the same out here in Calif. 2019 Ducati Supersport S. You need to get yourself a Harbor Freight wireless winch that you can use to pull the bike up into the bed, all by yourself. I paid $60 for mine and its works great. I mount the winch with opposing Tie-downs on the front bed hooks and it lays on the bed floor and just slowly pulls my bikes into the bed and Remove the winch when not in use

Chock up front, Canyon Dancer's on the handlebars. The rear I used the wheel to tie down only for the drive home...dude left the bike sitting for a couple years and the passenger pegs felt loose so I didn't trust tying off. It didn't go anywhere for an entire hour/72 mile trip home.

Anchors are industrial D-rings welded to grade 8 bolts through the floor. Bolts are welded to the frame underneath with supports. It's overkill lol.

Haha my apologies, it was a janky setup to pick it up at first to be honest.

It's a blast and kind of scary for me (and I've been riding since I was 8 years old, 30 now). '09 factory Repsol with a Power Commander V, PC Auto-tuner, titanium headers back Akrapovic exhaust, with some other odds and ends. I had it dyno'd a couple weeks ago at 184hp. Winter 2022 I plan on tearing it down, shipping the motor off for internals, removing the PC/Auto tuner, and flashing it with a proper tune. Looking to squeeze 200+ at the wheel when everything is said and done. :bananadead:

I built a bike pushing 123+ and it was long and heavy and it would still make you do the Superman if you got on it. I imagine that thing if you just touch the throttle the front end is coming up!!!!:) 200?? What a ride that’ll be.:)

I've been puzzling today over whether my 1999 ZRX1100 would fit in the back of mine and be able to close the tailgate. I'm thinking it might just fit diagonally. I'd love to take to to Colorado and other points west that I've taken touring bikes over the years. I'd like to take my travel trailer to stay in while riding, and as it stands, the tailgate has to be up to tow the trailer.

I need to get a tape measure out and try to figure it out tomorrow.
