My son rear ended someone and his front end needs repair. He probably needs a radiator (it's leaking somewhere) and it would be nice if the shop could determine if there was any damage to the engine from coolant loss. He will certainly need a new front bumper, some fender work, a headlight, and paint, too. Our insurance has suggested Caliber, Fix Auto, and Gerber, but we don't know much about any of them. And we aren't wed to a westside shop only, but it would be convenient.

Anybody have a shop they can recommend?

Not specific to your area, but I believe Caliber is nation wide so they shouldn't have problem with parts and should also have a good warranty with their work. I just can't speak to the quality of your local ones. Used Caliber here in TX about 5 years back and it was a good experience.

Luckily I’ve only had one need for a body shop when I got rear ended in one of our previous vehicles (2008 Honda Odyssey). It needed a new rear bumper and paint work. I went to Beaverton Auto Body and Paint. At the time their lead time to perform the work was much more favorable than a few others in that same area. Experience was good and the work was done nicely.
