on the left, granddaughter of Secretariat, also mother of the Stallion pictured above.
Far right, is my not very well pedigreed mare, mother of the foal pictured. Father of the foal is the stallion.
These two mares are due to foal May and June 2022.

    thank you everyone.

I bought the stallion’s mom, sight unseen, before she was even born. I was hoping for a colt, got a filly instead. I decided to go ahead and keep her. Her father, the son of Secretariat, at the time, was 23 years old. I knew it was my last chance.

fast forward a 10 years or so, my veterinarian and I artificially bred the mare and created my stallion. His color is unique in that no matter the color mare he is bred to, the foals will be one of three colors: Buckskin, Smoky Black, or his color, Perlino.

last year I found a granddaughter of Seattle Slew, and figured since she was also a paint, she had the perfect pedigree to add to my bloodlines.

when she comes of age, her foals will have Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Firewater Flit (secretariat of barrel racing) on their pedigrees.

My wife with her horse, Cinnamon.

She’s into horses like we’re into our Tundras.

I’m not into the horse thing but I enjoy helping out and supporting her.

    Beautiful!
My husband isn’t into the horses either. He supports my crazy horse addiction as well.

I’m not much into the Tundras either, I drive them. They belong to my husband. My truck is the Cummins for hauling horses.
