    Hello, Does anyone happen to know what size/thread is needed. This is under the tail gate, seems like a nice place for securing brake light strip.

    I don’t recall exactly. 7/16th or something like that comes to mind.

    But just so you know, these LEDs thread perfectly into that location..

    I have them wired into the 7way trailer plug so they turn on and off when the vehicle is running.
    Sort of a rear DRL if you will.

    So based on what @biebs96 posted. His light had M6 threads so any M6 bolt should fit that location.

    I just put some bolts in there. They are 1/4"x20. (quarter inch bolt, 20 threads per inch)

    So the 15/64" ones are the closest thing to 1/4" and I ordered some too. I'm gonna do what biebs96 did but with amber and put them on a switch for offroad use/dust.

    Got them delivered yesterday. They are incredibly tiny. It's gonna be awhile before I install them though. But Once I do, pics.
