I get all that and 100% agree with you on the benefits and quality of the switch pros, but I have a hard time with the 2 year warranty on a fairly non-serviceable product (although I haven’t read too many posts here or on the jeep forums of failures). Guess I’m a little more comfortable with the idea of buying a more reasonably priced controller and throwing on a flasher module from speedtechlights or $15 Amazon voltage regulator for brightness control. Dunno, just my $.02

    Aux beam 260
    8 flasher @15 each=120
    8 pwm modules @ 15 each =120

nets you 500, plus a complete packaging nightmare and the inability to control them from the cab(without additional circuitry)…

Example…from the comfort of the driver’s seat or any app BT connected device in range, i click circuit 1 button: (based on my programming, if I get bored I’ll create an option flow)

Once: it is whatever brightness I had set last
Once and hold: it will cycle down through the brightness options (100,50,10)
Double click: burst strobe mode at previously set brightness.

that is just scratching the surface of what a real PDM can do, all while being in a single compact package:

so I sincerely disagree with your statement on value. It is your truck you’re free to do as you please, but as someone who is entrusting his life and the lives of others to have reliable power delivery on a 6,000+lb semi-intelligently guided missile at 65+ mph though the desert or through some sketchy rock sections. So my vote is a tried-n-trued field tested automotive grade PDM.

Jason already made good points about adding in things in the electrical arena so I won’t beat up on that. I feel like the Auxbeam and similar modules are great if all you want to do is binary lighting control. If you want to do more, it’s probably a better idea to roll that budget into a purpose built product for the extra $100-200 over the piecemeal method. And this is coming from me, who I consider a notorious cheap-ass hacker.

New air chucks arrived today and they work perfect. Tested it out on the truck and everything worked as expected.

Finally made it back from vacation and had my amber replacement lenses waiting for me! Slapped them on, now I just need to wait for the sun to go down to see how they do.

I'm not going to mount it at this point. I like the idea of keeping in portable, just in case I need to use it on the wife's car or share with a fellow off-roader. The Viair 400p has alligator clamps that go straight to the battery terminals.

I’ve got an Apeman - not a fan of it. It does the job, as far capturing footage in case of an accident or whatever, but it’s not great for getting footage off from random cool shit like seeing a funky car or something crazy on the trail. I’m eventually going to get a Thinkware, just haven’t done the research to know which model yet. @AT x AT has a nice one and might have some suggestions.

    Not sure at this point.
The CaliRaisedLED brackets mount to the top of the 14mm bolt of the outer side of the crash bar... I'm wondering what would happen if I were to flip the brackets. It wouldn't be secured from the top though...

I was able to get my brackets lined up slightly better that way, but there was a significant amount of bounce when off road.

Alignment went well, drives straight and the numbers seem good. Still sounds like I’ll need UCAs before too long, but it’s not an immediate requirement.

Threw some 1” lift shackles back on the truck on Friday, along with doing a tire rotation. With the Icon expansion pack and the shackle lift, I’ve got a little bit of rake back to go along with the Westcott lift on the front. Seemed to do pretty well off road yesterday, so I’m happy with the results all around.

Started working on my chase lights. I originally had these on the A-pillars for ditch lights but will be purchasing some SSC2 Pros soon to do that job a bit better. The SSC1 Pros should be awesome chase lights.

I wanted to mount these on the last panel of the tonneau cover, but the way it folds would have run into the lights when folded up. I decided to use some fender washers to sandwich the cap over the stake pockets and this should be a good spot. Next up, wiring.
