Okay fellas my wife and two boys made my dream truck come true this past may. The truck was in and out of the shop due to issues from a new detail employee who chipped the paint and wiped down the b pillar tape with a rag he'd just used on the wheels. Then he used a dry rag on the instrument panel and put swirls in the dash screen where the gauges sit. Took a month to get the cab fixed right new b pillar tape. Then the master tech found coolant leaking underneath the intake at 3,000 miles.

My poor limited got more work done to fix the leak. Along with a new rear window seals bc the corner of the back glass had pulled away. I thought this truck was cursed. It was we were picked for each other however. My fil has done a lot of business with the dealer and originally I wanted black leather bc my wife's Lexus has held up amazing to our boys. The allotment was either a army green or fully loaded MGM WITH GREY LEATHER. My wife surprised me originally I was thinking windchill cement green or MGM.

I'm glad I went MGM. I'd almost like darker leather bc the grey can show from jeans but I'm on the fence about changing the grey panels to black bc I do feel the grey breaks up the monotony of black.

    So far I've done the
    Bakflip mx4 tonneau
Trd pro grille surround with Oem glass ( just found out about the two retainer washers)
    Blacked out badges
    LED interior lights
    Color matched smart handles
    Trd rear sway bar
    Trd gear shift
    Rc seat covers
    Black steering wheel badge
    6112 at 1.9
Just purchased trd pro bbs forged alloys... satin -02 for current 2.5 gen pros

What is next? Beefier tire? Get better seat leather? Or buy trd pro suspension? I'm rarely off-roading but have read guys love their trd pro shocks as an all around amazing suspension setup. I've found a set for 1700 with 30,000 miles on them approx. should I move on them?

Or just keep my 6112 on and get the trd pro skid plate bc I've read that'll give a little more clearance to fit a beefier tire without trimming chopping anythin. I'm fine removing the little front mud flaps.

In my automotive life I've never had a vehicle that is such a rock magnet. Are my tires throwing rocks forward? My color matched bumper ends get chipped almost every week on my commute home. Maybe I need to order another set of those

hmmmm... sounds like a lot of money to be spent.

btw, i got rid of the two tiny front flaps after i realized that my 33's rubbing on them. they are useless unless you are going reverse like crazy hard. Then, they're still useless :)

Man that sucks youve had those problems. What tires are you running. I switched to toyos and they do grip rocks.
You could always get the Pro Suspension and have them rebuilt while your riding your 6112’s. Or just get something equivalent for the money. Unless I was off road a ton…… I don’t know if I could tell that much difference between them. But moving to the TRD from stock was not and day.

That is exactly what they’re doing. My #1 complaint with the stock Michelins. I think they’re great and capable tires otherwise. They seem to surprise everyone in the stock Tundra off roading vids I’ve seen.

WHY THE HECK DID YA HAVE TO GO AND SHOW ME THIS?!?! What in the wide world of sports are you trying to do to me man? My amazing wife is going to kill me when I bring this up. She was all for the trd hood scoop and the BBS wheels and more aggressive tired but Lordy that's probably going to be an outside warranty install for me. I DIG IT!

Don't worry, I think you have a while before they unlock the 2021 ECU so they can be tuned. I think they just cracked the 2019s.

ESP under-seat storage mod! $210 or so if you catch it on sale.

Head on over to the MGM thread it’s where the cool kids hang. Too many mods not enough day light feels like a consistent theme.
