I’ve never noticed that they are remarkably slower than any other window. It’s a big cab. Big windows. Seem fine.

I wouldn't be surprised is this is some new safety reg passed to keep breeder's children from guillotining themselves while being idiots hanging out the window.

Have you ever got your truck to take more than 30 gallons of fuel when you fill up the “empty” 38 gallon tank?

If you rev the motor while pushing the window switch, you will achieve warp speed.

The install is actually pretty easy. The module plugs into the drivers side window module and you just need to run a wire back to the battery from there to make it all work.

It gets installed in the driver door. It was easy with the exception of having to run a single wire up to the battery. I had to run it through the door into the cab then through the firewall up to the battery. IIRC, that wire doesn't need to be ran if you also have auto up passenger window from the factory, or something like that. I don't have the instructions in front of me.

I’ll second the OP. Not really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but the windows are definitely sluggish. Slowest up and down speed of any vehicle I’ve had before. But the rest of the truck is leaps and bounds ahead in nearly all other areas. So I just deal with it.

My battery is OE and over three years old. Maybe when I replace it that’ll help a bit.

Wouldn’t you know it, my battery died today. I replaced it, and also sprayed the windows tracks with silicone lubricant, and the windows are better now.

You should get a 2022. The windows run on turbos but they have to push fake actuator noise through the speakers.
