Did you get this to work?

I am going to install an android head unit in a 2021 also and had a few questions. The seller has sent me a picture of the harness that they say will work but looks like it is missing some pins.

This is what I came up with, it looks similar to the CB047.

Did you ever get the amp to turn on? If so did you use just connect the amp wire pin 17 to power or ground?

There is no illumination circuit on these radios, does yours dim with the lights on? It could be using the canbus for illumination.

Also no reverse wire, does yours switch when going into reverse? It could also be using the canbus for this.

Sorry but I could not get it to work. I gave up trying to decipher the extremely broken English, they sent me the wrong adapter three times, once I finally got the CB047, they instructed me I still have to run a wire and manually splice to my amp. I really wanted it to work as I liked the unit and the price but I ended up giving up and instead of trying to be cheap, I got the pioneer NEX.

Did everything else work except the amp?

I really would like to get this radio, I just need to know if the amp turn on should be negative or positive.

Everything except the amp worked. So the door speakers weren’t working but the steering wheel controls and reverse camera worked.

Hi I am about to do this install on a Tundra 2020, i think the 21 and 20 are the same in terms of wiring and I have also been told buy the cb047, how did you manage to get the speakers to work, I dont mind splicing to the factory amp.

I have not received the radio yet but after reviewing the wiring you should only need to add the missing pin for the amp turn on.

This is what I got from the manufacturer. Everything checks out except the amp pin.

Hi I have bought a sister brand Roadanvi, as recommended by dasaita sales on aliexpress because of the specs I wanted. I have a Toyota Tundra 2020 non-jbl stereo, and have been asked to buy dasaita cb047 canbus.

I have read on here that this is not working on tundra 2020, as toyota changed the connections to the amplifier supplied by toyata and placed under the factory. https://www.tundras.com/threads/2021-tundra-dasaita-install-help.100349/

I have tried this to dasaita on aliexpress and roadanvi and roadanvi do not respond. But the aliexpress customer keeps telling me now to use stereo installer, because they don't know what to do.

I will not recommend dasaita brand because of this lack of customer support.

So I figured it out. I had to buy the techinfo subscription to look the wiring diagrams on the non-jbl amplifier 9 speaker system. The amp trigger wire is skyblue, and connector J203 pin 17 SB(sky blue). From the roadanvi (could be same on Dasaita) there is a electric blue cable that is marked AMP-CONT and these 2 need to be joined. I tested by back probing the connector with test needle and same on the amp below the passenger seat for continuity. Then a risky move was to apply 12V to that backpin on pin 17 of J203 and voila, the door speakers came to life. I also checked that the voltage drops to 0V when the car is off, to switch off the amp, but the amp must have it's on supply via ACC/Ignition anyway

I dont have a Dasaita but a roadanvi which Dasaita put me in touch with due to the RAM/ROM requirement I needed and a SIM card connection for data. The roadanvi uses a Dasaita CB047 canbus.

I dont have connection via the factory carplay USB anymore, as it only charges, and I know a connector is not connected, I think there is a cable that can be used, but the roadanvi USB, only 1, unforunately connects to the phone and has android auto, which eventually I will move away from and run all the apps I need via the head unit with a data only sim card.

This is the final diagram I came up with that I plan to follow for my install. It's good to know it's going to work to turn on the amp.

The harness is missing the reverse wire but I am pretty sure it will be activated by canbus.

Reverse camera turns on with the canbus no issues there, just connect the canbus RCA too head unit RCA for camera

What wiring harness did you buy for your Pioneer NEX? It looks like my 2021 wiring in the Tundra is much different from the 2015 I had and I'm having a hard time finding the right harness.

Fellas, I’m looking into the 13.3 dasaita head unit. I’m 2021 non jbl but with the factory amp. It seems like @vanhack figured out the amp problem, thanks man! So a couple of questions:

All I need to do is hook the sky blue “amp” wire from the CB047 to the sky blue wire coming from factory harness? But in @vanhack pictures you’ve got it hooked into a red wire?

Also, he said his usb CarPlay didn’t work, just charged. Have you guys noticed that? I’m fine with it only as long as this thing runs wireless CarPlay straight out of the box. Or do you need an adapter for that? I had an android unit on my Tacoma & it needed a dongle plugged into the usb.

I can confirm my installation worked with connecting the amp turn-on wire(blue from android radio) to the factory harness (P17).

I don't have a Dasaita but a ZoHong (https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/DSP-4G-for-Toyota-Tundra-Sequoia_1600140258888.html) it uses Tlink for carplay and does not have wired Carplay only wireless.

If anyone is interested I have 3 of these brands and they have all been working good and offer over-the-air software updates.

I am using the red wire as joining wire. Most people will have a red or black wire to make the joining wire. I did this so if I need to remove the headunit there is enough length to remove without issue.

Thanks guys. I’m now looking at scout version versus some regular version. I can get a scout version in 3 days from Amazon. It obviously won’t have the canbus I needed but it looks like I can buy that from dasaitas website for $70. Can I piece it together like this? Any advice on scout versus non scout?

Hey man, thanks the for info earlier. Now I’m installing it & my speakers do work right out the gate, which seemed odd because I was planning on that being my only hurdle.

My problem is I have no reverse cam. When I put it in park the screen comes up, but it’s black. You say to hook up the camera RCAs, I don’t have RCAs coming off my stock unit (pic of 2021 non jbl with nav attatched) any advice?

The RCA should connect to your canbus adapter, which in turn connects to the new head unti

I was finally able to get the amp powered by moving a wire in the harness. Dasaita sent me 3 different harnesses with a difference canbus. Now the steering controls work and the amp is powered up to power the door speakers. If anyone has questions, please let me know
