Yes. I am lifted 2 inches in the rear with mine. It works just fine with no issues.

    Good morning everyone.
    Looking for some opinions
Installing the RSB next week. Was wondering if its worth it to upgrade the front to the TRD FSB. A little background for context. I dont do any towing or hauling. The only off roading i do is the soft sand beaches on Long Island (basically a pavement princess as Jim LE says lol). The only other thing to add is I will be adding a Magnuson supercharger in the spring. Thoughts???

The front sway bar makes a noticeable improvement, just not as pronounced as the rear does. Recommended regardless.

I wish I have the link to this guy on YouTube…maybe Tundradudd34 or something like that…he did a video on the performance of a the front and rear sway bar on his Pro. Ultimately he took them off. Basically he said it stiffens the ride up which I agree with to an extent because they rear bar did on my TRD Off-road. Only slightly though…. I have driven in Long Island many times and I will say I love having it installed. Me personally I don’t want to add a stiffer front sway bar because I have to travel the 5 boros to get there. And as you well know the streets are rougher than most off road trails in the area. Therefore I want a more supple ride for when the craters come along. Hope something here helped you…

I appreciate the input. I saw the reviews on youtube Tundradude 34. They were informative. I would never take the Tundra into NYC, I have my 2014 Nissan Sentra for that stuff. The roads here arent bad at all and like i said the only off roading i do is the soft sand beaches around here. My only big question mark was throwning the supercharger into the mix. There was a thread on here talking about that and it was pretty unanimous on the RSB being a pretty much necessity.

That is me! Luv driving my TRD Sport on the highway. Busy interstates not an issue..handles and drives like a champ especially with Tow/Haul activated. My previous TSS...meh...no so much...drove like, well, a truck.

I see the bar mounted alot of different heights along the def. Are these for different rides, or different models of sway bars?

Installed the rear sway bar - noticeable difference in cornering.

Powder coated at same time I did my coils and front tow rings because powder coater had a minimum but it did result in using different sized wrenches due to addition of powder coat.

Got mine on order but says it will be a few weeks so I want to get all my ducks in a row and have a few questions:

    1. Need advice on a torque wrench...don't have one and just want a quality one that will get this job done and any other mods down the road!
    2. Looking to paint all the gold parts red and was wondering if anyone else has done that...saw the powder coat but what about some simple paint options!

I was in a similar boat when i put mine on several months ago. I ended up getting a Husky torque wrench from Home Depot. Seems to work just fine for what i need.

I ended up painting my hardware black. Just used some rattle can high heat black paint (i had it in my garage already from touching up paint on my grille). I just scuffed up the coating and put on a couple of coats. Seems to be holding up so far.

Are these smooth riding springs? I am looking for a little softer ride in the rear. I do not tow anything other than small utility trailer. I do need the 2 inch lift because I want to do away with the previous owners 2" block. Thanks in advace.

    Not enough....
No they are a bit stiffer than OEM, but not too bad. However you really don't need the extra load I don't think you'll be happy with them. They definitely aren't softer. If you want to maintain a fully OEM ride, I would remove the block, and get a longer shackle maybe. But honestly a 2" block isn't that bad and probably not causing any real problems. You could go down to a 1" block and get a 1" lift shackle to split the difference lol.

Anyone bought Kings for plush ride and installed red sway bar in the rear?

Wouldn’t sway bar take away plushness from Kings?

Lowes Kobalt brand or Husky at Home depot are great options for the diy mechanic

I have the Kobalt brand in 1/2 in 50-250 lb ft and 3/8 in 20-150 lb ft.

I also use a tekton 1/4" inch lb when necessary.

Always good to have the right tool for the job.

So, I just put this on & agree it makes a huge difference, but I assume it will be a limiting factor on rear wheel travel with an eventual lift correct? I saw there was a Hellwig one for 2" lifted trucks but it was pricey.
