I have always loved the look of a tundra with oversized tires and blacked out wheels. I agonized over this decision and i love the finished product!i went with Method 305 18x9 +25 mm offset . tires are 295 70 18 falken AT3 e load. to me its the perfect amount of poke and clearance. these pics are on bone stock suspension - almost no rub at all with front and rear mudflaps removed. i think once i push front plastic forward it wont rub at all but I am also adding bumper shims for extra room. i will add my 6112s in the next week or so for an extra couple of inches in the front. Im not sure if i want to raise more than the 1.9 or if i want to do anything to the rear. besides the 5160s. i need to find some wheels locks for this thing and black out the center caps but i love the look of this truck and the size wheels and tires i picked out !

Nice set up! If center caps aren't available for your wheels you can just spray paint the center hub with the wheels off.

Will they clear the fenders with max suspension up travel? Hard to tell by the photos. Wouldn't want you to tear up a fender when you hit a big bump.

    Not sure at this point.
Reverse full lock? U-turn? Anything rubbing? Taken off road?

i dont think so. its not a daily driver so it will be gentle only until shocks are added. I am trying to figure out is shocks at 1.9 or 2.3 are enough or if i need to add a little more.

With +25mm offset, I'd think you will need to fold the edge of your skid plate a bit. My tires are narrower, at 275/65/20, and scraped the skid plate with +30mm offset. Good looking setup!

IME the bumpstops keep the wheel from moving that far... even on large bumps mine never hit anyway. No lift.

Tire set up makes a huge difference once you lift it will be even that much better!!

If you it’s lifted 2.3”a you should be ok I still had to fold (or cut) the skid plate slightly. The front plastic I altered just a bit so it won’t rub.

i discovered with all of this that I dont hav a skid plate despite having the off road pkg. I was curious if they would rub with the +25 offset

Your truck looks great and has the right amount of lift.

The stock skidplates suck, and make changing the oil a bear. I have an RCI on order. If you won't be offroading much you don't need one.

+1 for the RCI Skids and Methods. I'm running 703s at 0 offset with 315/70/r17. OME lift is slightly larger than yours though. Great looking truck.
