Turbo and current technology is pretty solid. In the end, anyone driving continuously beating on any mechanical item, can break it through this abuse. You do minimize the risk through solid engineering and manufacturing processes and not overstressing the mechanicals.

My fun ride runs 12lbs of Boast through a SC pushing 750HP/670 wheel HP. Haven't broke anything on it yet.....No towing with this one. LOL

There is going to be growing pains with any redesign. I know Toyota is reliable and they planned this redesign for a long time. But you won’t know anything till it’s in the consumers hands.

If you run a case on your phone, a get Scosche magnetic mount. Super easy, stays in place like cement. I love mine in my Tacoma.

As soon as he started referencing “V4” engines with 4 turbos, I hit ignore. It’s cool to have an educated disagreement, but the key word is educated.
