    Question for the fellow Canucks.

Just emailed my dealer (truck, not drug) and asked for pricing for a few add-ons like bed mat. Tonneau cover and running board for the limited off road. He got back to me and said "no running boards for off road trim".

What?!?! Will I have to go aftermarket? Anyone know why this is?

    Hi from Qc,
they have the ''predator'' running boards listed as an option for 975 $ (installed) on the Canadian web site.

Might be a wording thing. Running boards vs Step Tubes. Or no auto running boards.

I seen the predator running boards on the website. But I asked for pricing and the sales guy said not for the off road trim. Which doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe the sales guy thought I meant auto running boards? But my email didn't state that

you may want to get the truck first and see if you even need them

new owners are saying the truck is so low you don't need them anymore

    just throwing that out there

Sounds like a classic, sales people are dumb.

Good point…I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old (who needs to climb in by himself at school pickup) so I need the steps…predator in my case.
Another thing I won’t have to worry about when I lift it in a few months also

Test drove the limited off road last night. Truck definitely needs the side steps.
And talked with another dealer and they said the predator steps are available. Not sure why the original dealer would say they weren't. Think I might take my business elsewhere.

Yes I was able to order the steps through my dealer…
Sparks Parts actually has them cheaper (no idea how they are able to do that) but the shipping to WA state was gonna kill me so just opted to stay with my dealer
