    Tomorrow will be the 10th day in a row I have not been at the gym, that hasn't happened in 4 years. I did run and climb a mountain, and that crushed my legs. Back at it Tuesday.

    Oops, it is tomorrow. 14 hour drive, quite frazzled.

    I wish this thread was more active, I love being physically fit, and want everyone to be. Getting old, 46 on 6/8, partially disabled, but ima give her hell till I can't. No supplements or special diets, just count calories.

    Very true, I do mountain bike at least two times a week, but I haven't quite got to that point with the gym. I need to though.

    It's even more fun when you're doing push downs and a cable slices into your face.

    That's why I stopped using those, been doing dips, skullcrushers and close grip presses since.

    Much better results!

    Ouch man! I don't use cables often, don't get the same range of motion as free weights. Plus I go to LA Fitness so its rare that a cable machine is even open lol.

    decline skulls get them especially when you hold your upper arms at a 45 degree angle to keep constant tension on the tricep/deltoid insertion.......

    lol. I heard they aren't cheap either.

    The LA I go to is starting to get a little flashy. They have "happy hours" after 4 where they have a DJ and random snacks. I go around 6 am so I don't usually see that crap lol.

    I try to keep it quiet while there lol. I am 99% of the time the biggest guy there so I have nothing to prove there :)

    Or anywhere, for that matter. At my home gym I feel like a 12yo next to majority of those guys.

    those gyms are exactly what pushes me!

    Been in plenty of gyms where i'm by far the biggest guy there, i never stay longer than a couple of weeks....no stigma for change or growth ( in more ways than one)
