The Gen 2 front leveling kit fit perfectly on my 2022 Tundra! I just had 2” spacers and 35” x 11.5” Toyos installed this morning. It still rides great and the tires do not rub.

But it’s all new and special how could that be? Serious question how’s the clearance on your 35s? Close to anything or does it look like they have pretty good clearance?

I know right! I looked at it side by side with my 2021 as I was trading it and noticed the front suspension was the same. The clearance is great. It’s not close to anything at all. That’s why I went with the 11.5”. The 12.5” would probably still work, but the 11.5” are great.

Replies to the previous three posts:
I paid exactly MSRP at Estabrook Toyota. They didn’t mark it up at all.

No noticeable power loss on the 35’s, but I just put them on this morning and have been driving in town. The speedometer is off around 4 mph at 50 mph. I’ll be looking for a speedometer calibrater when they make one.

    285/60/20 will give you right at 34.8 x 11.5.

Lifting these isn’t as easy as everyone is making it out to be. You need to be super careful to use a small spacer- so that the overall front lift is 2in. A 2in spacer nets almost 4 in of lift and puts your cvs and driveline at really gnarly angles. Lifting the rear is bad too without the right set up- you need to put longer rear brake hoses on.

Curious as to the mpg loss with the larger tires. More so than the previous gen because of the increased boost on the highway caused by the increased drag. I know when I researched the ecoboost engines larger tires drastically effected mpg because of increased boost to hold speed.

It’s not any different than a 2” level spacer on all the others. The spacer yields 2” but is not actually 2” thick. Everyone on here knows what’s going on.

No- the new trucks geometry and front end has changed, so when you drop in a “3in” lift kit, it yields way more lift, around 4 or more inches

The top hat is the same, but the shock (lower mount) and length are completely different. The UCA’s are also completely Different

Isn’t that what he was saying? I don’t understand the geometry, but I know for example the coachbuilder spacer is .5” thick but adds 1” of lift on the 2/2.5 Gen. Would this .5” thick spacer add more than 1” on a 3rd Gen? What does the lower shock mount and UCA have to do with the lift a spacer provides? I’m just trying to understand it.

Take a deep breath! It’s a spacer lift and maybe an alignment. No big deal.

That was in regards to actual suspension lift. At this point I don’t know if anyone knows if there is enough thread left for for the coach shim, but they would probably work.

it actually is a huge deal. If you put on a lift of any kind and it lifts the front too high, it’s a ticking time bomb for your cv’s, uca’s and driveline. The current tundra spacer lifts are providing way too much lift for this new model, unless you are using the small spacer (thus far have only seen that done by 1 person- adventure motors KC, everyone else has been slapping 3in kits on these trucks and netting 4+ inches)

I haven’t noticed much of a difference in mileage so far. I haven’t been on the highway for any long distances yet though. I was getting around 15…16 mpg in town before and it has basically been the same the past few days since I put the 35’s on.

You're arguing with someone that runs a 6" pro comp lift and has rough country in their sig. Of course they don't care about angles and geometry :D
