She’s off to the shop. $1,500 to fix it “the right way” and to repaint my roof. Not bad considering I had a quote of $800 from another spot to paint the roof.

Fingers crossed it all turns out well.

Paging @empty_lord, how would you go about opening a front passenger door (2000 AC) that is locked, and neither fob, key, nor interior switch will unlock. The window operates no problem. Its not an electrical issue, I believe the gears in the motor are broken/jammed, and not allowing the rest of the assembly any movement. I've removed the inner window weatherstrip and pulled the top of the panel away from the door, which gives me a bit more access, but can't remove it entirely with the door closed as you know, nor can i get to the 3 torx bolts to remove the entire latch assembly. My next move will be to somehow disconnect the motor from the latch while inside the door. probably just break off the actuator arms from the motor so everything else can move freely. So my questions to you (or anybody else that has the answers)
Am I on the right path?
Or is there a better way?
    Please and Thank You

Looks like it! Nice to see the black wheels on Phantom Gray. I see you went the opposite of me and blacked out the grill and left the chrome on the bumper. Like the hood lights as well. Short antenna. I like the way that looks. Clear corners. Nice truck!

I received a small baggy of green gels for my LEDs. Will install tomorrow.

Mine did that when the window track came loose and wedges on the lock mechanism. I had to brute force in by removing the door panel. It wasn’t pretty

Nice gels. I have my green LED’s but haven’t installed yet. Tomorrow is a trip to Clovis for my bumper. Hope to have some spare time for truck mods so taking some extra tools and gear.

well, my motor is locked up internally, not from the window track. I've got the top of the panel peeled back, I was just hoping there was a trick and thought I'd ask before i started the rippin and the tearin. So no easy way. Gotcha. Thanx

Installed the SmartTap by Diode Dynamics. Thanks for the recommendation. I like the features. Just wished the Arrival/Departure feature worked with my factory alarm on my 02 Tundra AC.

Diode Dynamics SmartTap CF18 LED Flasher Module https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085B9PLHF?_encoding=UTF8

This weekend I need to do a drain and refill on my Transmission. Dealers want between $195 and $285 to do a drain and refill without the T-tech. It used to cost $80 to do the job. Why so much now?

I just need 3 quarts of Transmission oil and a new crusher washer? Drain Nut needs to be torqued to 10ft lbs? Put in the same amount that was taken out? Warm up transmission and check levels at normal operating temperature? Anything else?

My Avalon departure works. Arrival doesn’t. Toyotas flash hazards twice with unlock so it won’t work. Subaru is the only one that works 100%

Added some ATP at-205 to my oil and power steering fluid this morning. Then treated her to a new front windshield. I was rolling with the original Yota one and it was hard to see out of it in certain lights. Made a huge difference!

Guess I didn’t need Diode Dynamics to send me another module as warranty. Bummed I won’t get arrival/departure to work.

double cab should flash the hazrads i think since it uses a BCM AC and Reg cab flash the parking lights. you should have departure lights. unless the DC flashes park lights too (aka does you license plate lights flush with the lock and unlock?)
