Just changed my commuter halogens to LED…

I know some of you will say to not do that with a halogen housing, due to the pattern not spreading correctly.

My question is… will this be ok? If I left it exposed like that? Or what would you guys suggest?

I did the same with my 02 Celica, but Mcgyver'd a harness to fit my socket. A small portion was exposed like yours and I didn't have any issues in 2 years of commuting in NorCal..

Lol funny to say, this car was driving all the time in NorCal and the headlight bulbs never blew out. Now over in CT, everyone over here seems to have 1 blown headlight bulb driving down the street.

Maybe I should wrap it with some electrical tape just to be on the safe side since this car is now over on the East Coast...

LOL we may have cross paths at some point... after a year I gave in and wrapped the exposed area in electrical tape... it had enough spider webs around the headlights to catch fire... a whole bunch of pirates in CT.. lol

Haha tell me about it. You don’t notice it much, but when you do, it’s 50/50 that has 1 bulb out.

Definitely will see you around! The RSX still has Cali plates!
