Thanks brother. Modding these trucks is a major addiction.. god

Yeah that was my goal here. I have not seen one cement in this area (tundra, taco, or 4 runner) - let alone color match front. So the "make it mine" definitely came from boredom...

My white 2010 has a retro with LS430 projectors, matsu ballasts, CBIs with a LED insert for highs. I added colormorph halos with bluetooth control. I will say those cant TOUCH the morimotos I have on my cement...

here is is 3 weeks ago on the beach... decent pics of the retro

Awesome. Nice to know the morimotos are good; I was thinking of upgrading my stock headlights to a black-housing retro from EleDoubleU, but I'd go lower than the LS430 and do one of the cheaper options. I don't do a ton of night driving, honestly. I've already got his black housing HID fog lights waiting to install.

I have tinted tails and 3rd brake also, but I didn't keep the reverse clear - yours look sharp like that. Might need to update mine! Those beach pics are great, too -- glad to see a nicely modded white 2nd gen, but now I know i won't be unique with my ideas! Haha.

looks good ! is the front grill slightly different shade than the body ? seems that way or maybe it's the lighting.

It may be the lighting or could possibly be a tad darker. I knew going in it would be hard as hell to try to match it all to a T. Especially this cement color.

Here's an output pic. Pretty wide. I didn't think the rx350 would be this wide.

How easy was the wiring for the DRL LED strip? I'd like to add that to my retrofit when I get one done. Did you end up deleting the amber DRL as well? Looks like it from the pics.

Wasn't bad. These LEDs have a small driver that I tucked into the steel panel behind the grill with Velcro. I can try and get a pic.

Yes snipped that pain in the ass DRL wire as well as de-pinned the solid wire for the blinker. So the blinker bucket LED only comes on and blinks when I signal.

I'll have to research which pin that is exactly. Those are the only two things that bug me about most retrofits on here. They have all these nice 6k LEDs and then the same dumb looking orange DRL lights on while the LED DRLs are on as well.

It is the purple wire. De-Pin that if you dont want the light to be on (even after disabling the DRL)

What I did was use an extra switchback pair I had. Once I did that it did exactly what I wanted it to do: only come on when I signal

What a wicked combo with the cement and black! I'd love to do the same with mgm instead of cement! I wish I had the knowledge and time to do mine like that! Sounds like alot of work... wonder what it would cost to have done...

Hey AZ I got a question about the color match valance. The one you had painted, was it a texture black one that are on the majority of tundras or was it off of a platinum or 1794 (flat , smooth finish)? The reason I ask, is the paint guy I went to said he couldn't guarantee that the valance would hold the paint. Did yours come out nice and smooth? It looks like it from the pics you've posted.

It was the black plastic valance. It was textured, but once it was color matched - I put the 3m film on it to protect from chips.

Turned out better than I thought it would.

Thats a great idea. When you get a chance some time, Could you take a close up of valance and a bumper end so I could see both in one picture and see how close of a match it is? Hope that makes sense.

While I am on my thread... I replaced the LED Concepts Colormorph footwell strips with the Morimoto RGB strips. The same ones I have in my headlights.

They are on their own controller and the app sees both. Much better output and no issues with the RGB pigtail the Colormorphs have had for me

    Ill post pics soon

So i'm set to have my valance and TOYOTA logo color matched on Monday I want to leave the inside of the grill back on my QS. I'm now looking for the clear protection film for the lower valance. Did you cut yours or was that precut? I can't seem to find one for just the valance. I found one for the whole front end but that's overkill for me @ $419 lol.

Great looking truck. How much rub did you have with this set up before cutting into any metal? And how much metal trimming did you have to do?
