Saturday I am driving across the state of Washington to take a look at two Tundra's I have on hold. A 2017 Black Platinum and a 2017 Black Limited Crewmax.

I love the features of of the Platinum but the grill of the Limited looks great. So this brings me to this post. I would love some feedback on your thoughts between the Platinum and Limited.

I know price will come up so here are the details. I can get the Platinum for $46,250 and the Limited for $43,400. The Limited is loaded and the Platinum has everything except Remote Start.

    Share your thoughts!

Either or is great! plat is black stitched, has memory seats, power steering adjustment, and a few other small things the limited doesn't have.

Does the limited you're looking at have the sun roof?

    Welcome from CO!

It does. Loaded pretty well. Both and their advantages. I do love the leather in the Platinum.

Welcome! Either one is great. If you like the extras the Platinum has but the grill of the Limited you can always replace the grill, but that will probably be the first of many more mods - assuming you don't run out of money.

Good luck. That's like trying to choose what Victoria Secret model to take out on a date.

    See fine print
Yup like others have said, the leather on the plat is better. You also get ball coolers! Not sure if the Limited has blind spot and cross traffic, but those are cool options too. But honestly, either would be great trucks. memory w/ seats, mirrors and steering is cool. oH and don't forget power fold mirrors and puddle lamp from the plat. If you want it all I say get the Platinum.

That's exactly how this forum rolls, nobody cares what you actually say as long as at least one person knows what you MEANT!

But why'd you want to attack his truck?

I need advice on a good locking tonneau and boards. I am not going to get in the mud that often so I am leaning towards running boards. Thoughts?

The look good and of course you have a Black Tundra so easy comparison. My kids are so damn clumsy that I may need a full length board.
